Hi I'm back (lol) and this time I'm looking for recommendations on stories where Rodney suddenly comes to the realization or is finally ready to admit/accept that he's gay or bi, or pan and starts to, (or maybe it only appears that way)explore that side of his options with some very willing people . Shocked Shepard included would be a lovely bonus but not required. I don't care who McKay does this exploring with, either original characters or other characters from the SG franchise is fine as long as he ends up happily ever after with John at the end. I would prefer stories set in Atlantis, but will take what I can get.

This has been a horrible day for me, I found out I am now diabetic and a couple of other things health wise. Two very different kinds of requests:

- McShep fics where John pursues a reluctant Rodney (or insecure or possibly even oblivious Rodney). Canon or AU, happy ending a must, explicit sex and bottom!Rodney a plus. I would adore long fics but short ones are good as well (I read the snippet Sheppard's Goal by Cypher and loved it and also read the fic by Mystic that it inspired Stanley Is Just a Cup (Sports AU are okay but not mandatory)).

- Just got through reading Basura by

zaganthi and loved it, how the characters are twisted, how the fic presents a darker kind of Atlantis that could be a very real possibility, and I'm looking for more. McShep preferred and, again, bottom!Rodney is a major plus.

I'm looking for stories where John is actively "cruised" in a noticeable way. I don't care if he's hit on by a stranger or someone he knows, or whether he accepts or rejects the overture. Prefer if it's a man doing the cruising, but will take a predatory woman as well! Having this observed by a jealous third party would be extra delicious, but not necessary. If John starts out oblivious to what's going on, that's great too.

Can end up McShep or other pairing, or no pairing. I'm flexible!

I'm looking for fics where John dates/sleeps with Rodney because of a bet he has with someone. Or, he seduces Rodney with aspirations to further his career/milk Rodney for money. Of course, Rodney finds out, John regrets ever starting the mess, and angst ensues.

I'd also be interested in fics with the same theme, but with Rodney and John's roles reversed. I'm just really in a Guilty!John!Whump mood. :)

I'm looking for Mcshep (will also take Mcdex or Sheppard/Dex) fics where one party is trying to get the other to notice or pay attention to them. I'd also love if they were trying to that attention by showing off their skills or dressing up or doing anything to actively get the other person to acknowledge them. Bonus points if they're also trying to seduce the person. I recently read a fic where John walked by Rodney and Ford noticed that he looked like a pigeon puffing up to get the attention of a mate, I then promptly lost the story but now I'm craving stories in this genre. I'm sure there is some post on this community that has this but I honestly didn't know what tag to look for because there is no "Rodney seduces Straight John" tag.

I'm looking for fics wherein John is straight (or, honestly thinks he is at any rate) and Rodney is in love with him/like with him/lusts for him, I don't really care. But I would love a fic that can convincingly take a straight John and have him "give in" to Rodney's flirting/seduction/etc. The perfect fic for me would be where they're very good friends, and Rodney's in love with him, and John is straight, or thinks he is, has never had a gay experience or consciously thought about having one, and is slowly, rewardingly won over and gives in. A great representative of this is Close Encounters by

amireal (at least, I think I remember John not having past experience in that, honestly it's been a while since I read it).

I would love anything in this general vein, where Rodney is actively seducing him, is trying to win him over with games and chocolate, or is even NOT trying to but just... does. Where he wins John over with his inherant Rodneyness. Happy, fluffy, angsty, h/c, I don't care, gimme! Thanks in advance!

Are there any stories out there that focus on Ronon being socially awkward/oblivious, etc. when it comes to sex. Something that focuses on how he was basically young and inexperienced before becoming a runner. Doesn't matter if it's slash or het, but I'd like to read stories where Ronon is the one being seduced or wooed by another person and is skittish or shy when it comes to sex. Of course, if the story culminated in hot sexing all the better. I am specifically NOT looking for fics where Ronon is asexual, but rather where he is clueless or doesn't know how or when to act on his sexual urges. I was just reading a fic involving a rather neat make-out session in a puddle jumper (probably my favourite SGA kink).

For various reasons, it got me thinking that it would be great if there was another John, an AU John or clone etc, in the mix.

I was visiting my aunt for the week, she has no internet and the only thing to read at her house are romance novels, which probably explains my sudden craving for the following type of story.

I'm searching for Rodney/John AU's (or Rodney anyone as long as it's slash) where John is a rich businessman/CEO/Rodney's Boss etc. perhaps with a certain reputation as a player who at one point or another seduces Rodney or at least tries/wants to. John wants something serious, so does Rodney but Rodney thinks he's only another notch on the bedpost (insecure Rodney would be the greatest). Misunderstanding and angst ensues until the final happy end.

That's basically it, I would be very grateful for any and all recommendations who are remotely like this. Honestly, I would be satisfied with any story where Rodney thinks he is just another conquest/just an one night stand and/or thinks someone like that wouldn't be interested in him, it doesn't necessarily have to be AU.

1st one: Any stories where John sets out to court/woo Rodney. Bonus if Rodney is reluctant, or oblivious. Lots of Rodney love and determined John please. Set in canon or AU verse are both fine.

2nd one: Any AU fics where Jack and Daniel go to Atlantis from the beginning. Jack/Daniel, John/Rodney preferably, but gen is okay too.

That's right, folks. We're heading towards Valentine's Day & all that it entails from the schmoopy side. So....
