John pursuing reluctant!Rodney + Dark Side fics

Two very different kinds of requests:

- McShep fics where John pursues a reluctant Rodney (or insecure or possibly even oblivious Rodney). Canon or AU, happy ending a must, explicit sex and bottom!Rodney a plus. I would adore long fics but short ones are good as well (I read the snippet Sheppard's Goal by Cypher and loved it and also read the fic by Mystic that it inspired Stanley Is Just a Cup (Sports AU are okay but not mandatory)).

- Just got through reading Basura by tzi & zaganthi and loved it, how the characters are twisted, how the fic presents a darker kind of Atlantis that could be a very real possibility, and I'm looking for more. McShep preferred and, again, bottom!Rodney is a major plus.

I haven't read Basura, so I'm not sure this is quite what you're looking for..

Not the Fine Man You Take Me For by sardonicsmiley features a Rodney that snaps and takes a decided turn for the worse and John lets him. It's uh, very dark with character deaths.

Crimes Against Humanity and A History of Violence. Atlantis was a neutral colony before it became a prison camp, split between the mainland facilities and the ocean bound city itself for the war criminals and those convicted of crimes against humanity. Alcatraz, he'd heard Sheppard drawl when he arrived in the gateroom, manacled and bruised from a scuffle in the Colorado gate room that ended with four injured Marines. Inescapable, or so they said, but Sheppard's single word reminded him that nothing's inescapable.
