Hi, looking for some sheppard/weir fics where he meets her family and maybe one or a few don't like him. Bonus if they grow fond of him, maybe he does something on TV or in front of them to change their minds or even rescues Elizabeth and it changes their minds about him and approves. Could be set either during Atlantis or before.

Also looking for sheppard/weir where Elizabeth is in a abusive relationship and John rescues her. Could be set either during Atlantis or before.

Any sheppard/weir where John is presumed dead but then is finally found. Bonus if Elizabeth is pregnant and he is gone for a few years.

Any sheppard/weir where John is either sold into slavery or similar and Elizabeth and the team finally finds him. Or some alien queen/princess wants him for herself and he is gone for a while before being found.

Any sheppard/weir where either Elizabeth or John die in canon, but the canon universe gain another similar counterpart from another universe. Bonus if sheppard/weir are together in one of the universes with kids or just together and the other universe counterpart always wanted to be with the other but they never allowed each other to go that far.

I'm looking for some bonding fics, but for some reason I just can't seem to see what I want (I just know that your all going to link me to other posts that have the same thing, but I just can't seem to find them by myself. So I'm sorry for this)

I'm looking for fanfictions where Rodney and John are bonded by an ancient device or by alien tech on a planet. The sort of thing where they develop telepathy, or can't move away from each other for longer than like ten miniutes.

Marriage bonds etc. I'd like ones where they are not in a relationship beforehand.

Also, are there any good, long, complete stories where John and Rodney get together, fluff and romantic with a hint of hurt/comfort and misunderstanding and stuff. But mostly fluff.

This has been a horrible day for me, I found out I am now diabetic and a couple of other things health wise. The HORRIBLE FIRES in Tennessesse that are making me cry for so many reasons. and other personal things going kapuly in my world,,, ,,,, ,,, I need to read the Happiest and HOTTEST stories out there about John and Rodney. The team can be in there, the city and whatever. There used to be a commercial that said, "Calgon take me away!" Well dear friends, help me and let SGA take me away for quite a few hours. I beg.

Ok, so I've been seeing mentions of this harlequin thing. Now I assume they are similar to what my friend terms 'hysterical romamances' so I am intrigued.

I am hoping someone has written some Sheppard/O'Neill fic that's more than just pwp... Everything I've found so far has been a bit lacking in plot or romance, and I think these two would be phenomenal together.

Are there any stories where Rodney gives up physics for a relationship? I'm looking in particular for stories where he ends up at home doing the cooking and minding the kids (cats, dogs, etc.; mpreg not a problem), but stories where he changes careers in order to be in the relationship will also fit.

I'm looking for slash stories of mid-to-long length (>10K) with a heavy focus on pining of character A for character B and a happy ending. Long courtship/UST, basically. I'm not particularly big on action-based stories (as in, half or more of the story is describing meetings/firefights/war strategy). Just about anything else goes; AU or not, any kink, etc. = all ok. Any mix of the characters: rodney, John, Radek, ronon welcome.

I am not sure how many of this even exists in this Fandom. I am looking for a McShep fics where it turns out that John and Rodney are Soulmates or destined partners or something. They could come together quickly and easily or with angst and drama. Either way they should keep thier personalities (Rodney Snarky, John commanding yet antiestablishment). They can figure it out right away when they meet or sometime later. Any ideas or suggestions?

I've just been re-reading the excellent WMHB by Keira Marcos and I was wondering if there are any other stories out there in a similar vein. Happy and successful John and Rodney fighting bad guys and being awesome in their own right. Where John really takes care of Rodney and Rodney uses his brilliance to solve everything. It could be Pegasus or Earth based, I don't mind, but a nice 'feelgood' story to chase away the winter blues would be great please, and the longer the better.

So I've been out of the fandom for a bit, and now return with a craving for good fic I haven't read before. I'd appreciate any recs you all may have for newish fic! Looking for McShep, fluffy stuff or at least a happy ending.

I'll take any and all suggestions that fit the above, but if you'd like a couple more specifics: I like obliviousness, ie, one or both of the boys don't realize that they are basically married; I like pining, especially when combined with obliviousness (and a satisfyingly sappy ending); I like AUs that still include Atlantis somehow; I like kidfic of the single dad AU variety; I like Mensa!verse; I like things set in an ambiguous imaginary season 4+ with Elizabeth still around/in charge; I like things that make me laugh and things that are so sweet you have to just shove your face in a pillow for a minute to get through your feelings.

I don't like angst, that's like basically the only thing I don't enjoy. No death, no cheating, I just ain't about that kind of drama.

Pretty ambiguous request, I guess, but really, I'll take just about anything! Bonus points for AO3 links, so I can read them on my Kindle :)

Hey guys! I'm hoping you guys can rec me some fics.

I'm looking for Rodney-centered fics where Rodney and John meet and don't really like each other but once they are thrown together for whatever reason they start to like each other. It can be just friendship, that they start to become friends, or Rodney/John slash. I just want them to not like each other much to start with and then as they get to know each other they do. It can AU, Supernatural, Fantasy, Crossover, canon or diverging from canon. I also would really like it if something happened: a misunderstanding, a bad mission, or whatever else and they stopped speaking to each other (friendship) or break-up because of it (slash). Happy endings please! Also, major points for FemRodney. Please no BDMS, power games or porn (meaning it doesn't have a plot, just sex). I really want good, well-written, in character stories with no main character bashing. Even better if Teyla and Ronon have important parts in the story as well. Thank you so much!! Your favorite stories are what I want to read! :-)

Hi everyone,
I stumbled upon a story a while back called Love's Tangled Web. It was listed as a harlequin type story and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was a work in progress and so after my initial disappointment have resorted to looking for other stories of this type. I found a link to a harlequin page but it was no longer in use from what I could tell. So... anyone have any suggestions or links to lists of stories of this nature? I especially like the ones where they are at odds at the beginning before working it out, although I believe that is inherent in this genre!
