I am.looking for stories where Rodney is either permanently injured or has a long recovery, something like Fading Skies by Diamond Raven, but where it is Rodney who has the disability. I prefer McKay/Sheppard but any will do.
I have read I think I'm dead but haven't stopped moving yet on FF but ones like that.

Also, after mentioning FF, does anyone know any good McKay/Sheppard fics on FF. I find it really hard to search and most of them seem to be het with John and Teyla or Elizabeth or gen. I know the quality on FF is also very hit and miss so I would like good ones please.

Hi I have read a few good one's where John is presumed dead, missing in action or was stranded and Atlantis personnel never wanted to give up search for him and brought him back home. I'd love some long one's like that, any pairing with him is fine. Bonus if SGC sends people to help search for him when the IOA refuses and wants to declare him kia. Also any that have old flying buddies of his that have clearance to come help the better. I'd love long chaptered one's if at all possible and Sheppard!whump is awesome. Just basically protective Atlantis personnel, also slavery fics are fine read a few of those as well with this theme.

I'm looking for any McShep or gen fic where accidently, under the influence, AMTDI, intentionally but with good intentions, John does or says or behaves in a way that hurts or even kills Rodney (temporarily or actual death or ascenion). I'll also count emotional hurt and pain!
I'd perfer happy endings and fics that go into John's guilt and Rodney's response. Although I'm good with other people being involved and someone else making John realize what he did.
I don't mind fics where Rodney ends up with a disability (temp or otherwise) or just becomes afriad of John.

And in a somehow more painful note: if you know of any fics that are similar but John actually drives Rodney to suicide or just deals with the aftermath of his suicide.
I'm in the mood for some emotional pain!!

Only thing I wouldn't like is infidelity or juat evil John who wants to hurt Rodney or rape/any kind of sexual assult.

Im specifically looking for any fics where Rodney is captured/kidnapped/imprisoned and put through the wringer (can be anything, abuse, torture, starvation, noncon), as long as someone finds him in the end, or fics where he goes through that with someone else (once read a beautiful fic where rodney and ronon were captured together and tried to survive together)

I'm looking for any McShep stories where Rodney has been beat, hurt, bullied or harassed because of his sexuality - either on Atlantis or in his past. I'm particularly looking for stories where his fear of being hurt again affects his relationship (or starting his relationship) with John. Also, any stories where Rodney is bullied/harassed specifically because he's dating John - i.e. someone thinks he's not good enough for him or he's corrupted him/turned him gay.

Additionally, I'm interested in any McShep stories where Rodney is being bullied/harassed (for any reason) by soldiers on Atlantis behind John's back. (I've read everything on the Post-Trinity Rec List as many have these theme.) I love Protective!John protecting Rodney from bullies. Rodney whump in all it's various forms is my favorite.

Hi I've got another fic idea that I wanna read.
I like fics that deal with Rodney's allergies, like ones where he has a reaction. Mild or severe is fine. ( not really looking for death fics but if you make a good case I'll think about it) But I don't mind if he has like a seizure or other serious medical condition because of it.
Also I want fics where the team or John are prepared for his allergies. Like a read a few fics where they had devices to test citrus in food, or where John or Ronon tasted his food first, and a lot where they all carry epipens. So fics like that or if theres a new idea or a similar one I'd take that too! McShep or gen please!!

HI, I know this will be a reallll stretch, but, does anyone know of any stories out there where John has a close call or gets bit by a shark while surfing. It is Shark Week on several cable channels so I have been watching sharks all week, all day. The story can be AU, while on leave or while Atlantis was on Earth. Or even an alien planet. I really don't want him to die in the story so please leave those out. Slash is great, self rec is good.

hi! i've been looking through the awesome recs this community has to offer, but after reading tons of fic, i still want more ;)

i'm only looking for gen fics & happy endings please.

1: any platonic cuddling where sheppard is involved. hugging as the result of injury or snuggling for warmth or... anything really. special bonus points if it's ronon/john!
2: john being inured but still kicking ass & being capable. maybe he's saving his whole team and/or atlantis despite being injured. (i just read this wonderful, whumpy fic by kristen999 and crave more.)
3: i've also just read obsession by t'pring & now i'm wondering if there are any more fics where sheppard gets stalked or someone is obsessed with him. special bonus points if it features protective team/lorne.
4: actually, i'm generally looking for more fics about the team or lorne being super protective of john and defending him - emotionally & verbally rather than physically. although i'll take both! very special bonus points if the team stands up for john against the earth military somehow.

uh, yeah sorry about asking for so many things - but i'm looking forward to any & all recs you might have for me.

Looking for three types of stories:

1 - Both SGA and SG1 working together, but only stories with both full teams. I prefer adventure but even a party/reunion with lots of banter between the characters is great. Some stories I read:
Thunder Rolls
Fate's Fickle Humor

Raiders of the Seven Systems
Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves

2 - Stories where Sheppard tries to commit suicide because of grief, PTSD or serious disabilities. Not interest in stories where he only thinks about suicide, only those he reallly tries and someone stops him (or not, if said story do exist), passive suicide is OK too. Some examples:

Raiders of the Seven Systems

3 - Several fics normally like to show how Sheppard is good looking. Want to see some where he have a permanent disfigured appearance (face) like scars or burns. Not interested in disabilities which cause him to lost his job (things like a missing eye only if is replaced by cybernetics but the cybernetic must be visible if is the only wrong thing) or the bug creature from Conversion. I'm so very new to this fandom -- actually I'm just into the second season, but I'm already getting all crazy about Sheppard. God, I can't believe I'm more than 10 years late to the party...
ANYWAY. I'm sure there must be tons of Shep Whumpage fics out there? I've just read a handful of fics yet so it's like a whole new feeding ground to me, yay! please just rec me with those most delicious hurt!Shep fics! I know there probably are some golden mines under FF and AO3, but I think maybe I should get started with, say, some "classic" ones? So I figured I'll just try my lucks here. Hopefully I can get some responds.
Here're my requests:
1) Absolute Shep!Centric; I don't care about the pov, as long as the story is focused on Sheppard; and probably for the same reason... I'd also like Shep to be the only one get whumped, or at least he takes the major blow.
2) ANY form of whumpage is OK. Sextually or physically or emotionally (preferably it comes with the former two ones), injuries or illness or some kind of disabilities, beaten up or get tortured... I'd read any thing.
3) I'd prefer gen fic, team fic, friendship fic, but no het. If it's a slash fic, I'd prefer Ronon/Shep, but I'll try other pairings, too. (I love Dr.McKay and I'm perfectly fine with him being a bantering buddy with Sheppard, but currently I just don't, and can't see him as a romantic partener... I dunno, I just can't!) I am actually a big time slash reader, but somehow I feel more in the gen mood with John. Oh, and... I can only read bottom!Sheppard, so please do not rec me with any fics are not.
4) The longer the better! Cuz that way Sheppard can be whumped slowly and beautifully (*/ω＼*), or he can get some healthy dose of comfort. Bonus if the story features some protective!team members

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for any and all fics that deal with John having a life altering disability. He could be blind, deaf, suffer from severe injuries leading to amputation, etc. I searched earlier entries in this journal, but the latest concerning this topic were posted in 2011 so I'm hoping there are some newer fics out there. Any pairing is fine, so is gen.

This is really specific, are there any fics out there that mention the scar or ongoing issues from where Rodney was shot in the ass in 'Sateda'? I don't care about the context, even if it's just mentioned in passing. I just cant think of any fics I've seen that mention it.

Failing that, can anyone rec any fic that mentions previous injuries seen in the show, either causing problems further down the line or just reflections on scars or longer lasting issues?

As always slash is my preference but I'm not averse to gen.

So Ii was looking for some fics in the star trek fandom involving the characters being trapped under buildings or in cave ins, but as of yet nothing has turned up. So I started thinking "I wonder if there are any stories with Rodney trapping in a collapsed building or a cave in?"

So... anyone like to help me out there... there unfotunately isn't a tag on AO3 or ff.net for this sort of thing.

Hi folks. I'm just watching season 5 for the first time and it strikes me the potential for Sheppard whumpage is huge.
It's only a month since he needed surgery after being pinned by a beam in an explosion.
He gets to "test" Carson's phage and it stops his heart
Then he gets stabbed by an enraged bit of proto wraith hive - and that's just the stuff in canon.

I also thought the whole, this is how a hive ship grows thing was creepily cool.

With all of that I thought there would be heaps of stories out there, but using the tags on AO3 and Crossroads I've only found 4 short ones and they all seem to be John/Ronon.

Any McShep fics out there with lots of John whump? Or AUs where the boys build their own Hive ship somehow, one of the boys was infected and started to grow goopy tentacles? Any and all variations related to this episode would be fine. And I will take other pairings too if there's some whumping involved.

Also related to the episode, but quite different, any stories on Teyla and motherhood that relates back to how she must have been in absolute dispair for her child while trapped by Michael. We see her in this episode wandering around all gooey eyed and maternal, but it can't be that easy for her at night when she can't sleep.

Bonus points if there's any fic out there that combines these two requests.

Hey guys I'm looking for any doctor/patient stories the more detailed the medical part the better. The doctor has to be Carson though and the patient can be Ronon, Rodney, or John (or another male character basically or if you have a cute OFC that's fine too).
There can be a lot of hurt/comfort, but please no permanent disability.
