Hi all,

I’m looking for any stories where weir is replaced and sent back to earth. Bonus points if she was trying to get John replaced.

I would prefer longer stories particularly if they show the aftermath of the changes etc.

I’m guessing there are quite a few that might have been set after the first year when they go back to earth.

I have just finished watching the episode 'Sunday' and wish so much that ep has never happened as it meant we then got Keller shoved down our throats by the writers.
I never could stand her or how she treated Rodney and so i am in the mood for really good stories, preferably McShep, that have lots of Keller bashing. Love it when people are ptotective of Rodney so ones where she is made aware of her awful behaviour to him are great.

Does anyone know of any stories where Rodney and John are together and Weir tries to split them up. This could be because she wants John herself or she is homophobic. I dont care how bad her character is portrayed.

Hi, I lost my link to the Great Lemon Chicken Stories. I am also looking for any other newer stories where Rodney, or even John, just decides to throw in the towel because of everything and start over back on Earth. Or maybe another planet.

I just read Surprise by Setcheti http://archiveofourown.org/works/3719191 where Rodney succeeded in rescuing Sheppard despite his lack of adequate training and loved it. I want to know if there are any other fics where Ford or another member of the military failed to provide Rodney with adequate training for the field. Are there any similar fics out there? Perhaps where things didn't go as well for him as they did in Surprise? I would love if they end in McShep but Gen is good as well.

Actually, I'd also like any fics where Ford is a jerk or a bully to Rodney and someone puts him in his place.

I'm looking for stories where either Beckett or Keller blatantly disregards medical ethics (for instance, by administering a treatment without properly testing it first) and there are serious consequences down the line. If it's Beckett, the consequences need not show up while he's still alive.

The longer and darker the better. McShep preferred, but I'll read anything!

Stories where the ATA gene therapy causes problems are absolutely welcome, but I've already read everything recommended in this post.

Hi people,

I was wondering if there are any fics out there where either John or the marines (because John is clearly suffering and taking it out on them) try to undermine Keller and Mckay's relationship. Because, obviously (in the case of the marines), Mcshep is their OTP. IN the case of John it would probably be more passive aggressive. Anyway, anything in that vein would be so greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for two genre of fic.

1) I'm looking for John/Rodney, Mcshep, stories where John has made a mistake--honestly or maybe he's just being a bastard. Either way, I want stories where John is in the wrong and he has to make it up to Rodney. Maybe there's some groveling. Rodney shouldn't just take him back easily. Does anybody have links for stories like that? I like McShep, but if anybody has links where John's in the wrong that are gen or a different pairing, that would be great too. As long as John has to make it up to Rodney.

2) I'm looking for stories where Sam Carter either acts like a bitch or is called on acting like a bitch in the past. Or both! It would be best if Rodney realized her bitchiness. I mean, I like her as a character but I'm really in the mood for a bitchy Sam. I also already know Kiera Marcos' Ties That Bind. Can you guys help me with this? McShep would be best, but I'm open to anything.

Please may I request any fics anyone can recommend wherein Caldwell actually admits that John is the better military leader for Atlantis? Exrtra marks for McShep and looong ones.

Alternatively, how about fics where Caldwell and John argue or even fight over the leadership?

I'd love to read fics that have an evil/bad Elizabeth and where she is ousted by R&J. I've read the one that was asked for over on ficfinders where she's put in stasis and Rodney takes over, but is there anything else out there? I've also just read 'Written by the Victors', another good one.

I would love to read a stories where Rodney and Sheppard are together and for what ever reason John gives Rodney the cold shoulder/distance/issues with Doranda, maybe John just takes him for granted or cheats on him, ect. Angst and heart broken/earnest Rodney.
Lorne, Ronon(or other male character) get closer either because they are friends and are offering support, are appalled at John's callousness, want to make a move.

Basically a heartbroken Rodney who finds a new love and John is left alone because of his selfish ways.

I added the character=bashing tag just incase, could be straight out bashing or just motives by character, since no one is perfect and we all make mistakes.

So I was re-reading some of Keira Marcos' excerpts and they put me in the mood for two types of fics:

1) (I guess the could actually classify as two separate ones, so...)
a) While in charge in Atlantis, Carter ends up being, basically, an all around bad person. Whether is it because everyone hates her, she is overly harsh on McKay or she just does a terrible job. In short, I'm looking for some at-Atlantis-Carter!hate.

I should point out that I have already read the story/series where John switches with himself in an Alternate Universe and in the other Universe, he is marrying Carter - where she is apparently going around killing her husbands. (I don't remember what this one was called, but I have read it before)

b)In a similar, but slightly different vain, I would love stories where it comes out that Carter was wrong about how she treated McKay back in the SG-1 days. It can be anything from her admitting it and saying they were overly harsh to McKay (he was kind of a jerk, but still) to someone else pointing it out and giving her flack about it. (The Keira Excerpt I read had the first scenario in it)

2)Any type of story where Daniel sneaks away to Atlantis. (That doesn't have to be literal) I hope for stories where he does it because of Jack (either there deteriorating friendship/deteriorating actual relationship/Jack is just being a jerk) but really, anything that puts him in Atlantis.

For example, Wraith Killers by Lady Ra. (Keira also had an AU!Sentinel verse where Daniel popped up because Jack bonded to Sam and he had been with Jack before that)

As an aside, I always prefer longer fics and slash over het, but really I'll take anything that fits

PLEASE. For personal reasons, I'm craving fics where (a) Rodney is portrayed as an actual asshole, and (b) he gets smacked down for it HARD. Nothing where he's the innocent/misunderstood/woobie, nothing where he gets a happy ending unless it comes after massive atonement and groveling about how he's (rightly) so very wrong, nothing where he's evil and gets away with it. Please, no end McShep or bonus Sam/Teyla/Cadman/Keller/Weir bashing, but I'll take anything else as long as Rodney justly suffers.

So, earlier today someone did a search for a lost Evil!AU!Carter fic and after reading the fic, i now want to read more along the same lines. However, it doesn't have to just be evil!Carter... it could be Jennifer Keller, Kavanaugh, an OC, etc. Basically i just want some entertaining character bashing, evil!character, jealousy, possessiveness(sadly, not the good kind), controlling nature, etc. that has some good angst/whumpage for the main pairing. Prefer McShep, but will take any other slash couple that doesn't involve an OC in the main pairing as well. First-time preferred, but will take established relationships and NC-17 or R rating preferred, Please no dark!fic or death!fic. The longer the fic the better.

Just as a side note, i have read Keira Marcos' Ties That Bind Series and Human Nature, so those can be taken out of the rec pile. ;p

Hi everyone. I'm looking for any stories where the Alterians/Ancients weren't so great. It could be something somewhat benign such as how the current Alterians act during The Return, or more about how they were before they ascended.

I don't know if there are any out there, but I would love stories that explore how they have an entire galaxy "Praising the Ancestors" (much like the Ori) Also, anything from the following would be fair game as well:

1. Look at the creation of the wraith and anything else that might be similar.
2. Looking at the horrible experiments kept at Atlantis (perhaps the fact that they captured a creature - the shadow - to study it and kept it locked up for 10,000 years.
3. The fact that they control how Ascended act even those that ascend on their own - maybe even looking at the fact that ascended of different species (ie Humans) are required to act a certain way.
4. Hypocritical actions of the current Ascended.
5. How the ascended neglected a treaty with the 3 other great races once they actually ascended.

I know it is sort of a broad request, but a lot of the fics I have been reading recently seem to make the fact that they had been around for awhile and had incredible technology means they were a great people and everyone on Atlantis sort of looks up to them. I would love stories were everyone on Atlantis sort of hated them instead.

I've been watching re-runs of late season Stargate as well as SGA fics and it reminded me of how more often than not I dislike Landry, the IOA and even on occasion Elizabeth. So I am looking for fics that let me indulge in my displeasure a bit. I prefer strong John stories, and tend to read McShep, but really any story where Landry, the IOA and perhaps even Elizabeth aren't shown in a good light would be fine. As I tend to like happier endings, I would prefer ones where they - in some way - get taken down because of their behavior.

I'm in the mood for some character bashing - for stories where someone contrives to make everything difficult for the heroes, which makes it easy to haaaaate on them. However, for my own peace of mind, that someone cannot be a woman. So please rec me stories where male character bashing occurs!

General Landry would be a candidate, or some IOA politician, or Tunney (from "Brain Storm"), but I don't really care. (That's a lie: Please no one from the regular cast, and not Kavanagh.)
