Shocked Shepard included would be a lovely bonus but not required. I don't care who McKay does this exploring with, either original characters or other characters from the SG franchise is fine as long as he ends up happily ever after with John at the end. I would prefer stories set in Atlantis, but will take what I can get.

I am looking for fics that take place in the same universe as SGA, but are through John's eyes where he meets all the rest of the characters. Or where he just starts being in command of the military. I would only like McShep or Gen, though I do prefer romance. If the story diverges from SGA seasons a bit that's fine, but none where it changes the whole ending and everything. Thank You!

squidgiepdxI'm still at work for some stupid reason, and I queued up the episode Sunday (and now I'm trying not to cry as the last scene plays on my second monitor). And I was wondering - what fics exist where either Rodney or John, after the loss of Carson, finally admit their feelings for the other? I know John's line, "It hasn't hit me yet, and I'm afraid when it actually will", just feels perfect for a story.

1) I just re-watched "Letters from Pegasus," and after seeing how Miko describes McKay, I was wondering if there are any fics out there there where they get together or become good friends. Anything goes - honest attraction or funky alien mushrooms made them do it, main focus of the story, or just mentions, etc.
2) Anything Miko centric that fleshes out her character. I don't remember the name, but I read a story once where everyone was back on Earth and Miko had difficulty adjusting. Another great story was a Ronon/Miko friendship/beginning romance because Ronon said that the Japanese language reminded him of Old Satedan. Anything similar would be great. Het, slash, gen, femmeslash, anything goes!

I'm desperately looking for McShep threesomes with a female. I prefer longer plotty stories - not just porn like in most threesomes-stories, but if possible not without at least a bit porn. ;) I've read Girlfriend by luvsciencegeeks (yeah, I know, Rodney's quite OOC and the woman is rather Mary Sueish, but still...). I liked how their relationships to one another developed and that they ended up having kids. Haven't found anything comparable yet. At least not with a Sheppard/McKay/F pairing.
So, it'd be really cool, if anyone knew more stories of this kind. OFCs welcomed, but I'll take whatever I get (Teyla, Cadman, Elizabeth...). Also I'd love to not be thrown right into an existing relationship but to see it building. It's okay if two characters are already involved but it'd be even better if all three of them were single at the beginning (does such a story even exist???). Please no PWPs. Just wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of John/Rodney fics (or other pairings if you feel so inspired) where there is some focus on one of the pair struggling to accept that the other person really is in love/ interested in a relationship with them, possibly even as the relationship progresses. i.e. through insecurity or trust issues or past events etc.
Anything on that theme that you think might be a fit would be much appreciated, thank you! It need not necessarily be the main focus of the story, although that would be fine, obviously.
