Hi I have read a few good one's where John is presumed dead, missing in action or was stranded and Atlantis personnel never wanted to give up search for him and brought him back home. I'd love some long one's like that, any pairing with him is fine. Bonus if SGC sends people to help search for him when the IOA refuses and wants to declare him kia. Also any that have old flying buddies of his that have clearance to come help the better. I'd love long chaptered one's if at all possible and Sheppard!whump is awesome. Just basically protective Atlantis personnel, also slavery fics are fine read a few of those as well with this theme.

Hi, looking for some sheppard/weir fics where he meets her family and maybe one or a few don't like him. Bonus if they grow fond of him, maybe he does something on TV or in front of them to change their minds or even rescues Elizabeth and it changes their minds about him and approves. Could be set either during Atlantis or before.

Also looking for sheppard/weir where Elizabeth is in a abusive relationship and John rescues her. Could be set either during Atlantis or before.

Any sheppard/weir where John is presumed dead but then is finally found. Bonus if Elizabeth is pregnant and he is gone for a few years.

Any sheppard/weir where John is either sold into slavery or similar and Elizabeth and the team finally finds him. Or some alien queen/princess wants him for herself and he is gone for a while before being found.

Any sheppard/weir where either Elizabeth or John die in canon, but the canon universe gain another similar counterpart from another universe. Bonus if sheppard/weir are together in one of the universes with kids or just together and the other universe counterpart always wanted to be with the other but they never allowed each other to go that far.

So just got into the fandom and looking for some John/Rodney fics where: Stargate program is declassified to the public and the military find out about their relationship and giving them a hard time and people rally around them and support them. Also any where they kick them or one of them (most likely John cause he's military) Atlantis and Atlantis don't like it plus everyone supports and gets them or the one that was kicked off back.

I've read a John is a runner story (I think Running for us or with us was the name) and I liked that Todd came to his rescue and was forming an alliance/friendship with his hive ship. So any along the lines where Todd considers John family/kin or is protective of him would be awesome. I also read one where he gets taken on a Dart and is asked by the queen of Todd's ship to help with repairs cause their flight commander died and he is then named flight commander. So anything like those would be welcome, longer the better. Bonus for John/Rodney. Other pairings I also like are: John/Ronon, John/Carson and John/Elizabeth. I also like zelenka/lorne as side pairing.

Another I am looking for I've read a few John is an ancient one. And I'd really love more, maybe he gets memories of his past life when he comes to Atlantis or sits in the chair. The one I've read Rodney woke him up from stasis when they got to Atlantis and John ends up uniting the galaxy and everyone thinks he is a god/king and the IOA kidnap Rodney and Jack comes to the rescue and helps John plus John had adopted Lorne as his and Rodney's son. So any long John is an Ancient is more then welcome.

Any John/Rodney fics where John is presumed dead would be awesome. Plus one's where John's family finds out about Atlantis maybe they see them on TV after being declassified or the family comes to Atlantis and see's John in action and appreciate him more. I've read one where John's brother David comes to Atlantis to give blood to help him survive an accident and see's John and helps him a little bit during the action.

Any Kolya captures John. Where he keeps him for months, he can break or not. Bonus if McKay and the team get back at him. (Just saw the Common Ground episode and that gave me so many ideas for the John/McKay pairing if Kolya tortured him worse then just using Todd).

I'm looking for any McShep or gen fic where accidently, under the influence, AMTDI, intentionally but with good intentions, John does or says or behaves in a way that hurts or even kills Rodney (temporarily or actual death or ascenion). I'll also count emotional hurt and pain!
I'd perfer happy endings and fics that go into John's guilt and Rodney's response. Although I'm good with other people being involved and someone else making John realize what he did.
I don't mind fics where Rodney ends up with a disability (temp or otherwise) or just becomes afriad of John.

And in a somehow more painful note: if you know of any fics that are similar but John actually drives Rodney to suicide or just deals with the aftermath of his suicide.
I'm in the mood for some emotional pain!!

Only thing I wouldn't like is infidelity or juat evil John who wants to hurt Rodney or rape/any kind of sexual assult.

HI, I know this will be a reallll stretch, but, does anyone know of any stories out there where John has a close call or gets bit by a shark while surfing. It is Shark Week on several cable channels so I have been watching sharks all week, all day. The story can be AU, while on leave or while Atlantis was on Earth. Or even an alien planet. I really don't want him to die in the story so please leave those out. Slash is great, self rec is good.

i'm looking for any stories where the Atlantis Expedition is believed to be missing/dead- preferably from a very early point (such as never receiving any message requesting help in letters from Pegasus for some reason) and they have survived or at least some of them have. I am hoping for one where Atlantis goes to Earth to defend it from the Wraith... In particular i am interested in seeing interactions between the Expedition members and the Earthlings... Hopefully Dr Weir is still alive and in control of the city...

any suggestions??

I was just re-watched the first episode of stargate Atlantis and last (lol) and I had to wonder if there were any fics where it is discovered that the weapons platform isn't just a weapons platform but something more such as for example another city.... Or a research outpost....
Just idle thinking and curiosity here I thought it would be an intriguing line to explain why there was both a stargate and the outpost in the same area...

Also I was wondering if anyone had come across any stories where there was a reason given for why Atlantis was left in the Pegasus Galaxy and not brought back to earth? Other than Keira Marcos' Lantean Legacy...

The third curiosity I had was if there were any fics where the expedition is believed dead.... (For any reason) until the wraith super hive arrives on earth and somehow Atlantis arrives to fight it.... Could be interesting especially the risk of friendly fire and the whole thing of trying to prove that they are in fact the expedition.

A. b. It sounds a little overdramatic for I was inspired by the famous "The Ones You Leave Behind" by Leah, but it doesn't necessarily have to contain John being permanently gone. The important detail is for Rodney to find out that John loves/loved him, after he's disappeared/gotten sick/presumed dead, etc. AU is good, canon is better. Thanks in advance.

Are there any McShep fics about where one of them goes missing/is left behind offworld, presumed dead etc, only to come back months later to find that their lover has moved on to someone else? I'd love to read about how they deal with that. McShep ending preferred, Rodney being the one that goes missing also preferred if possible.

I recently re-read

bluflamingo's Paid in Forward Motion (gen, pg and awesome) and was wondering whether there are other stories where the expedition comes across former Lieutenant Ford after his supposed death in "The Hive". A definite hint that he's still alive, a continued enmity, Ford being found and dying, a successful rescue - anything that has him meet up with the Lanteans again.

I'm looking for two different kinds of fics:

1) McShep fics where they're dealing with large groups of kids. Summer camps, school, teaching the Athosians, anything. Canon and AU both welcome.

2) The other search is fics where Rodney is dead or presumed dead, and we get to see John grieving. I'm not so much interested in the actual death (or psuedo-death), but in seeing John's reaction to losing Rodney.

I saw a lot of Rodney being captued or presumed dead fics.

And it made me wonder if there is any fic out there that Rodney fakes his own death. May it be from being deported back to earth or people dont trust him anymore or something.

And he starts off new somewhere else and Atlantis comes across him later or something.

Any ideas?

Hi, new here. I’m looking for suicide/death-fics where Atlantis is forced to deal with the aftermath of Rodney’s death after he commits suicide.

1. Looking for anything where the main characters fight over whose fault it is that Rodney killed himself (leave no prisoners!) I would prefer that the fallout be focused on as many points of view as possible, but specific character’s POVs are fine. Multiple character-whump is greatly appreciated!

2. This can also include any fics were Rodney fakes his own death – and everyone believes it – in order to leave Atlantis because he can’t handle the stress and/or lack of respect. Atlantis can eventually learn that he’s still alive, or not.

So, Madison of 'Second Fiddle' and 'the Second Series' fame and I were talking via email the other day, and I realized how much of a sucker I am for that sort of story: the ones where AU characters interact with canon characters. Specifically, stories in which Atlantis expedition members disappear or die, and another 'them' from an AU is coerced or otherwise convinced to take their place.

So, with your help I would <3 to find:

1) Stories in which the characters interact with AU versions of their team members; via bodyswap or possession is okay;

2) ...and, specifically where they do so for the purposes of recruitment.

I know this is an awfully specific one.

I would like me some John/Rodney stories where one of them dies temporarily and/or is presumed dead by the other. In other words, I would very much like me some desperation with a happy ending. If you think a story is dripping with drama before it gets to the boykissing? That's the one I'm looking for.
