Hurt!Sheppard Centric Whump/ h/c Fic?

Hi everyone!
I'm so very new to this fandom -- actually I'm just into the second season, but I'm already getting all crazy about Sheppard. God, I can't believe I'm more than 10 years late to the party...
ANYWAY. I'm sure there must be tons of Shep Whumpage fics out there? I've just read a handful of fics yet so it's like a whole new feeding ground to me, yay! please just rec me with those most delicious hurt!Shep fics! I know there probably are some golden mines under FF and AO3, but I think maybe I should get started with, say, some "classic" ones? So I figured I'll just try my lucks here. Hopefully I can get some responds.
Here're my requests:
1) Absolute Shep!Centric; I don't care about the pov, as long as the story is focused on Sheppard; and probably for the same reason... I'd also like Shep to be the only one get whumped, or at least he takes the major blow.
2) ANY form of whumpage is OK. Sextually or physically or emotionally (preferably it comes with the former two ones), injuries or illness or some kind of disabilities, beaten up or get tortured... I'd read any thing.
3) I'd prefer gen fic, team fic, friendship fic, but no het. If it's a slash fic, I'd prefer Ronon/Shep, but I'll try other pairings, too. (I love Dr.McKay and I'm perfectly fine with him being a bantering buddy with Sheppard, but currently I just don't, and can't see him as a romantic partener... I dunno, I just can't!) I am actually a big time slash reader, but somehow I feel more in the gen mood with John. Oh, and... I can only read bottom!Sheppard, so please do not rec me with any fics are not.
4) The longer the better! Cuz that way Sheppard can be whumped slowly and beautifully (*/ω＼*), or he can get some healthy dose of comfort. Bonus if the story features some protective!team members

There's a whole comm... sheppard_hc that probably has a lot of the sort of things you're looking for.

At least it's someplace to start, until anyone else offers other suggestions...

There is actually a whole comm just for John whump -> sheppard_hc :)

I personally love everything by kristen999. Her masterlist is 'here'. She mostly has long plotty Gen fic which are John and H/C centric. :) For a long John & Ronon friendship fic I'd recommend 'Red Sands'

esteefee is another one of my favourites. My absolute favourite fic by her is 'Almost Human', followed by A.W.O.L. and Fair Trade (even though - the last one are John/Rodney but maybe give them a chance?)

There are probably a trillion other Gen or John/Ronon writers out there who focus on John H/C but I'm drawing blank at the moment (too tired). Sorry.

Welcome! There is so much for you to enjoy here. Major John!Whumpage to dive into in this fandom. My very favorite is tepring's Skipping the Angles omg so good. All her stuff is terrific, as well as kristen999's and Titan5.

I wrote an Amnesiac!John/Ronon fic called All Good, and there's some nice John H/C in my John/Ronon Doors Series.

He's so much fun to whump. :)

You might like Eternity (http://kriadydragon.livejournal.com/2008/03/22/) by kriadydragon. This is completely centered on John, and is gen. John is isolated

Another one that's really good is Lady Amarra's Circle of the Sun (https://www.fanfiction.net/s/4502302/1/). This story is mostly gen with very low-key background McShep. John has no memory of his past throughout most of the story; he is living with the people who take him in after finding him naked and amnesiac in Pegasus. (If you haven't finished watching Season Three you should be alright, but the concept for this story comes from a 'What If' scenario in Tao of Rodney - you can find the episode summary here (http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Tao_of_Rodney).) While this is ultimately John/Rodney slash, the story contains nothing graphic, and focuses on John's (Mies) life in the village and how he wonders if the strange dreams he keeps having mean anything important. Then, of course, we learn the severe danger he's in. John has no memory; John is isolated

rhymer23 hasn't written fic for SGA for a while but it's so worth going back and finding it. Beautifully written!
