 Hi there, I love this community.  I am looking for stories involving people from Sheppard's past, either CO's or subordanates  who thought he was a screw-up and now have come to Atlantis and are forced to re-evaluate him and see how great he really is.  Thanks.  Annie    Gen or slash is fine, not fussy and sorry about the tag thing, I am hopeless.

I'm gonna preface by saying I love SG-1, so I'm not looking for them to be bashed per se, but I was wondering if there were any stories where the Atlantis gang (or someone from Atlantis) has to defend or stand-up for Rodney against someone from the SGC or the IOA (or SG-1), or anyone denigrating or abusing Rodney (especially regarding his worth or competence but whatever).  I really got off on Sam smacking that colonel (?) down for questioning Rodney's manhood!  

I prefer McShep or gen, but I appreciated someone's recent request that acknowledged that other readers might prefer a broader range of recs, so go for it!  Just please do indicate what is what, what? "g"

ATA Gene holders incapacitated

Does anyone know of any story where maliciously or by accident all or most of the ATA gene holders in Atlantis are in some way incapacitated? This could be knocked out, completely off their rocker or some sort of take over thing where they are a danger to the rest. 

I'm interested in how the Non-ATA holders would cope as this would take out half the senior staff and anyone who could fly jumpers etc.

Any pairing or rating is fine.

I'm looking for fics where the team thinks that Rodney didn't changed but in reality he grown to know what he's doing on missions. I know I'm not clear, but in short, The team thinks that Rodney's the same but he's not.
Gen would be preferred, but slash would be good too!
