Okay, after re-reading astolat's Touch, which is John/Rodney accidental cuddling, I'm in the mood for more McShep cuddling fics! I've looked around and haven't really found many more. Help, please? AUs are fine, as are any rating level. I tagged hurt/comfort, because there tends to be a lot of cuddling in that genre, too. But non hurt/comfort is appreciated, too!

I know of six figure skating AUs (and one story that focuses on figure skating), thank you to sgastoryfinders for the links.

1) There's one that's John/Teyla and a rewrite of the movie The Cutting Edge, with Rodney as coach (a movie I won't see until after I've finished my billion-page skating fic). The Cutting Edge by greenconverses
2) My own Out Of Bounds.
3) It's not technically a skating AU but rather a fic where John and Rodney go skating. *raised pointy finger* Canada Likes It On Top by busaikko.
4) There's the one where John's a figure skater and Rodney's a... something... in curling. Broomstacking by notpoetry
5) One where Radek is an ex-figure skater. A Dream by theladyofshadow
6) Then there's the one where John's a figure skater and Rodney's a hockey player. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (2010) by sardonicsmiley

I thought I knew all of the skating fics but I was proved wrong (I didn't know about the Zelenka fic). Are there others?

I count:

- Figure skating AUs that have one or more SGA characters as figure skaters.
- Stories that center on skating.
- SGA crossovers with skating fic (like, oh, Evan Lysacek in Atlantis which would be too weird for words and I'm sure doesn't exist)

Hello everyone,

first of all, thanks to all of you who recced me awesome Rodney+cat-fics!

Now I have a new request and hope you can help me:
I'd like to read about either McKay or Sheppard telling people off who slighted John or Rodney, respectively, in the past. Former COs, classmates, professors, exes, teachers, relatives, what have you, as long as one of the "boys" gets in their faces on his partner/friend's behalf*. Could you point me to fics where something like this happens?

*I'll take John&Rodney in every permutation - friendship only, pre-slash or slash are all fine.
