I'm gonna preface by saying I love SG-1, so I'm not looking for them to be bashed per se, but I was wondering if there were any stories where the Atlantis gang (or someone from Atlantis) has to defend or stand-up for Rodney against someone from the SGC or the IOA (or SG-1), or anyone denigrating or abusing Rodney (especially regarding his worth or competence but whatever).  I really got off on Sam smacking that colonel (?) down for questioning Rodney's manhood!  

I prefer McShep or gen, but I appreciated someone's recent request that acknowledged that other readers might prefer a broader range of recs, so go for it!  Just please do indicate what is what, what? "g"

This one kinda fits, but not; still, I got a real thrill from Ronon plotting to protect Rodney. *glee* The Prating of Stones (http://saffronhouse.livejournal.com/103743.html) by saffronhouse, McShep, lots of creepiness, no sex... bad words and mention of possible violence? (Why yes, I do suck at determening ratings...)

Oooo, this was creepy and cool! And it did fit the basics of what I wanted: Rodney's peeps taking up for him. I really liked the scene with Rodney and Lorne; it seemed realistic on both sides.

I love these kinds of stories too. :3 Rodney is my absolute favorite, and I love when his team stands up for him. A great story for this would be Tipper's Along Came a Spider (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2915544/1/Down_Came_A_Spider) it's gen. Sam is in it and while she doesn't pick on Rodney the entire Atlantis crew really sing his praises, kinda. You'll get what I mean after you read it. :)
