ATA Gene holders incapacitated

Does anyone know of any story where maliciously or by accident all or most of the ATA gene holders in Atlantis are in some way incapacitated? This could be knocked out, completely off their rocker or some sort of take over thing where they are a danger to the rest. 

I'm interested in how the Non-ATA holders would cope as this would take out half the senior staff and anyone who could fly jumpers etc.

Any pairing or rating is fine.

tarlanx wrote a sentient!Atlantis series like that, I think (the one I think you were thinking of when you chose the tags :-) ) - the Sentience (http://www.davidhewlett.co.uk/fiction/viewseries.php?seriesid=9) series, NC-17, McShep. Most non-ATA gene holders get kicked out of Atlantis in it, though, so I might totally be wrong about it fitting your request...
