I often go to del.icio.us for various rec/theme lists... but there are a lot of folks there. One of my personal faves is ultimateficarchiver (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver)'s list; use the tags to navigate (you can combine with "+" to combine tags in the URL, e.g. for entries under the "sga" and "au" tag => http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/sga+au ).

As for a rec, hmm, would an utterly cracktastic - but fun! and good! and looney (tunes)! - McShep one do? Certain People Got a God Complex (http://eleveninches.livejournal.com/300747.html) by eleveninches, in which John is oblivious, dumb, utterly clueless, dazed and confused (though not really sleepy... at all) even after being hit over the head with a 4 ton anvil clue-by-four. So. Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but a darned good read anyway. ^.^
