I often go to del.icio.us for various rec/theme lists... but there are a lot of folks there. One of my personal faves is ultimateficarchiver (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver)'s list; use the tags to navigate (you can combine with "+" to combine tags in the URL, e.g. for entries under the "sga" and "au" tag => http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/sga+au ).

As for a rec, hmm, would an utterly cracktastic - but fun! and good! and looney (tunes)! - McShep one do? Certain People Got a God Complex (http://eleveninches.livejournal.com/300747.html) by eleveninches, in which John is oblivious, dumb, utterly clueless, dazed and confused (though not really sleepy... at all) even after being hit over the head with a 4 ton anvil clue-by-four. So. Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but a darned good read anyway. ^.^

For rec lists, which are mostly themed, try our very own "rec list" tag (http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/tag/rec+list).

Also, it's much nicer to leave a word for each comment you get individualy, so folks know they weren't commenting in vain; leaving a comment on your own post kinda defeats the purpose, as not everyone will check back on the post to see about further developements, while replies to individual comments come with notifications, just like you are notified when someone comments on your comments and/or posts. Just thought a bit of lj nettiquette 101 won't get me bashed, but might eventually result in you getting more responses. :-)}
