hi,

really, really in the mood for some heavy angst mcshep fics (or heavy angst rodney!whumping gen fics, or heavy angst john!whumping gen fics). Something that will really make me cry, or ache inside.

I've already gone through all the ones in the heavy angst mcshep category on crossroads (http://sga.fictionresource.com/fic_index.php?cat_id=00222&list_id=00001)

any other suggestions?

There are some good gen h/c stories that you may not find on sga.fictionresource.com; for some reason I think it has slash only.
I like all the stories these authors have written, so I'm just giving their Website or FF.net author page URL (except cybersyd42, her author page seems to be broken).

It is almost *too* painful isn't it! Just thinking about the ending makes me feel a bit weepy. I usually stay away from anything too angsty but I had to read it because it was written by rageprufrock *adores*

thanks. yeah, it's definitely painful. i literally don't even like *thinking* about it, lol. I love her writing so much, and the amount of emotion that fic brings out just shows what an awesome talent she has.

Going Public (http://orandream.livejournal.com/tag/going+public) by orandream is a massively long, massively heart-wrenching McShep fic that basically takes place on Earth after the Atlantis expedition returns. Features tons of Mcshep angst and whumping.

Oasis (http://blueraccoon.livejournal.com/558127.html) by blueracoon is McShep angst on earth after they're outed in Atlantis.

Coanda Effect (http://gaia.fictionresource.com/chapters.php?story_id=00040) by Gaia is another long, angsty fic that features McKay going after the wrong person and the aftermath of that decision.

The Other Side of Silence" (http://www.searingidolatry.co.uk/thecatsmiaow/silence.htm) by lemonbella features painful Mckay!whumping.

Transitions & Revelations (http://community.livejournal.com/sethoz_fics/20677.html) is full of McShep angst and bad!Carter.

I'm not sure how big you are on genderfuck fics but Ardhanarishvara (http://auburnnotlisa.livejournal.com/) by Auburn and Mona really messes up the entire team, especially Rodney, John, and Teyla. It is McShep primarily.

A Slightly Different Quality of Light (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/qualityoflight.html) by rageprufrock is John!whumping and Rodney!angst--though you may have read this already.
