Hi, I'm looking for your favorite long angsty fics. I'm going away and will need the distraction so the longer, the better. Sheppard-centric is good, slash or gen is fine, but I really want the angstiest things you've ever read. I hope this isn't too vague a request. Again - emphasis on the long, please.

Rodney (or John) Hiding Something BAD

Hi! I'm looking for McShep or preslash (or even Gen with a strong John and Rodney friendship) fics where Rodney (or John, but most preferably Rodney) is hiding something, but is eventually found out due to being increasingly distracted, unable to function, etc..

When I say hiding something, I mean like: physical / sexual abuse (or past abuse), bullying, a bad disease, a disorder, horrible depression / suicidal thoughts, physical illness, blind / deaf (perhaps with alien technology to help him), an injury, disability, death of a loved one, bad allergic reactions, really awful nightmares, etc. Be creative, I'm just giving you a bunch of examples of the kind of stuff I'm looking for (negative, not Rodney hiding something good). Anything along these lines or similar (in negativity) would be great!

Something that's BAD and causes shock / anger (not exactly at Rodney, per-say, but that's acceptable too) / protective feeling. Some hurt/comfort, if you will. I especially enjoy fics that show the reactions of the other people around Rodney (Ronon, Carson, Weir, Teyla, etc.). NO BAD ENDINGS! I want a happy ending or at least a mostly happy ending!

I don't know why, but it's something I've been craving for a while. :3 Please help me?

I only seem to find fics in which John is the thoughtless ass who neglects Rodney* what I’m after is fics which have the other way round au’s are fine, Rodney cheating with Keller or Katie are great.

I was also wondering if there is any Kolya/Carson fic out there? Plus any good fics in which deal with Clone Carson and how people react toward him or any Hurt Carson fics that have Carson slashed with any of the others and has the other guy getting really protective of our dear Doctor*.

*I don’t think Rodney is a git but I could honestly see HIM being the thoughtless one more than I could Shep and yes I am on a Carson kick
