mcshep cheating search
Jan. 31st, 2008 12:29 pmHi,
Is there a tag for 'I couldn't get into Crossroads'? I keep trying, but no luck...
So, I've checked the previous posts on this subject but they're over a year old and I have now read all of those fics (and they were all lovely)... I'm looking for fics where either John or Rodney cheat. If poss I'd like a happy ending but a well written sad one'd be cool too! I've only ever read one where Rodney cheats (Directional Theory) so it'd be cool if there's anymore of those?
I realise how dopey this sounds, but fics where the guilty party doesn't come across as a complete arse would be great!
Rating wise, anything goes - only looking for McKay/Sheppard though ;D
Thanks in advance guys!

Date: 2008-01-31 03:36 pm (UTC)Like, if you posted this same post without the Crossroads bit, and without mentioning reading the previous searches, you'd be bound to get one person reccing you Crossroads. That's where this rule would come it - it would be kosher to rec it only if they recced stories from there as well, and not just the site/tag. Hope that's a bit clearer than mud...

Date: 2008-01-31 03:47 pm (UTC)Yeah - I quite often get very vague recs on stuff - never from you of course! (and I NEVER think to look on delicious, mainly cause I never use it, I'm sure it's easy but I have some kind of mental block about it!!!)
Does crossroads ever work? or is that just me?
anyhoo, now i'm DYING to get home and read your recs... i don't know why i have a sudden hankering for cheating fics... :D

Date: 2008-01-31 08:34 pm (UTC)Oh, and del.icio.us is *easy*. /tag/ is the main thing - *everyone's* tags come up there. For different users there's /username/ then add the tagname. It's extra super because it has the '+' function, so you can combine tags: http://del.icio.us/debris_k/recs+stargate:atlantis like so. You can export/import your browser tag to it, thus have access to them online.
As for the other subject *facepalm* one of the reasons that rule has not been brought in yet is that often I *can't* rec any fics places I rec, thus breaking my own -unexsitent- rule.
