I am looking for Rodney centric stories where he interacts with people from the SGC and/or SG-1. I like Rodney so I would prefer if the stories are Rodney friendly. Science geekery and Rodney working his brain to save the day are always a plus. Thank you!

My comments: This is sort of time travel meets alternate universe meets messed up Ancient device whose purpose is misunderstood. It is the first in a series that has yet to be continued but is really mind bending and cool. And I love Rodney's responses here.

This is really kind of crackish but really interesting. It is more Daniel-centric than Rodney but Rodney has a very large role too. And it is slash and more.

This is an AU Forks in the Road (Big Bang 2007) where Rodney ends up running missions with SG-1 after the Tria's Ancients kick the Expedition out of Atlantis.

It opens up at the three month anniversary of 'Exile', as John thinks of it, and we witness his lovely breakdown! :D Rodney, on the other hand, just re-collates his data and decides that he needs to be at the SGC rather than Area 51.

You might like "Until It's All You're Holding on Too" (http://www.alyse.info/sga-santa/holding.html) by skitz_phenom. When Sheppard is presumed dead and the search for him abandoned, Rodney has trouble coping with his new job at SGC headquarters.

I just ran across this one Beneath A Beating Sun by magistrate (http://archiveofourown.org/works/210327). This is mainly an SG-1 story where McKay has a very large role.

No pairings that I can tell. Rodney is still learning how to work with people, and Atlantis isn't in the picture yet.
