yaoi_no_kokoro pointed us towards keiramarcos's Author Appreciation Day post. While this isn't the right place for that kind of advertising (unless you're a mod and citing it as inspiration), we are first and foremost a community dedicated to reccing. So in the spirit of appreciation days the world over, we invite you to rec your favourite fannish everythings and everyones: the comms, the artists, the vidders, the layout-creators, the podfic readers, the reviewers, the reccers, the resources, the commenters, the newsletter editors, the mods, the icon-makers, the lurkers if you know them, the off-LJ sites, and yes, the writers.
(Two things: 1) This is not a popularity contest. 2) We highly encourage you to rec people, places and anything that's not a story. You can rec your favourite fics here, but we have a lot of those entries already and it's mostly the same candidates. This is about all of fandom.)

She is one of the best writers out there. Her Stargate stuff is fantastic and I always look to her for a pick me up.
She's brilliant and fantastic. She's also taking over the world with her preferred pairing: Parrish/Lorne
