I'm looking for five types of fics today.

#1. Stories where John's ex Nancy plays a part, isn't vilified, and where her and John's marriage isn't dismissed as being love-less or a marriage of convenience.

#2. Stories featuring Ronon and Teyla's parents.

#3. Stories about John spending time with Torren.

#4. Stories about Dave Sheppard.

#5. Stories about Jeannie Miller where the focus is on her life and her feelings, and not Rodney's.

Hth writes good Ronon. And good Teyla. :)
There are more nice bits of Ronon and of Teyla's bacstory in The Bee Charmer (http://archiveofourown.org/works/28910) (also Ronon/Teyla, ~7700 words)
Actually all of Hth's fics SGA that prominently feature Ronon or Teyla -- i.e., many of them -- have intriguing bits of backstory (including family though not necessarily parents) in them and are worth (re)reading.
