You guys are always a fantastic help. So, I thought I'd hunt around again...

1. Any AU university-style fics wherein Rodney, Zelenka, Carson, Sheppard, etc. are professors? I read an amazing fic the other day in which Sheppard was a librarian and Rodney was a physics professor. I'd love to see more of this sort of thing. (Bonus points for Literature/English professors!)

2. In which the team finds an Ancient library? Bonus points for Rodney/Radek, Rodney/Carson, or McShep!

3. Decent Carson/Zelenka first time fics? This pairing is apparently hard to come by...but truly hot.

4. In which everyone thinks Rodney is dead? (But he isn't?)

5. Plausible Beckett-isn't-dead!fic?

Well, it's not exactly what you are looking for, but John, Carson, Radek, Sam, Teyla, Lorne and Parrish are all professors working together on a project, jokingly called The Big Gay History of the World (http://www.mediafans.org/rachael/sga/2006_sga_bghotw.html). Rodney is an entertainer who gets mixed up with the professors, while he's trying to hide out from the police. Pairings are John/Rodney, Lorne/Parrish, Sam/Teyla, Ronon/Elizabeth with Carson and Radek friendship.

1# Crossroads has two applicable categories: AU - College Professor!John (http://sga.fictionresource.com/fic_index.php?tag=00264) and AU - College Professor!Rodney (AU - College Professor!Rodney). Among the latter stories should be rageprufrock's wonderful Bell Curve series (all the stories can be found among Pru's SGA fics (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/index.html#sga)) which starts out with Professor!Rodney and TA!John, but they eventually get married, accidentally adopt two kids, and generally you will love the story if you read it. And I see the former doesn't have The Theory of Acquired Characters () by toomuchplor listed, which is an AU in which John teaches biology at the Uni and Rodney goes undercover as a student to recruit him to SGC's "cause". Ronon ends up taking classes in entomology and joining a frat house, not necessarily in that order. (Has a sequel Theory of Allopatry (http://toomuchplor.livejournal.com/54818.html).)

for 3# I suggest checking out sgatlantislight's Newbie Guide: The Essential Beckett/ Fics (http://sgatlantislight.livejournal.com/81562.html), it has fics grouped by Becket-pairing. :-) You could check the slash pairing tags at ultimateficarchiver's del.icio.us (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver), namely the Carson/Radek tag (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/carson/radek) although you should check under other tag-names as well.

The Bell Curve series sounds pretty amazing...as does the other with Ronon in a frat. haha.

I hadn't even though to check del.icio.us for Carson/Radek...I can't believe I didn't! I've checked out wraithbait, crossroads, and Area 51.

Speaking of... nothing similar to the subject, but. See, me and a friend wrote and recorded a completely cracked out piece of crack, and we're looking for opinions whether it's safe to share with the rest of the world, or better left alone. In any case, it's in my journal, posted this weekend, and I'd really appreciate any comment you could offer. (You'll recognize the post, don't worry. Not many Demented Psychodelic Squirrel Duos are featured normally. *g*)

Another #4: Stockholm Syndrome (Tearing Down the House) (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/309092.html?thread=11702116#t11702116) by mousewitchy (link with sequel-snippet in the comments, just browse through them); it's angsty McShep - Rodney/OMC - McShep, from Rodney's POV. He's been hurt on an alien planet and the locals heal him, and tell him the rest of his team made it off-planet unharmed. But the expected rescue doesn't come. And doesn't come. Until Rodney doesn't want to be rescued anymore.
