Hi there,

I have been out of the fandom for a few months, after reading almost all the fic I could lay my hands on, so would love it if someone could help me out here..

I'm looking for the best, top-ten fics of the last 6 or 7 months. I love h/c and action, fluff, whatever... I have no idea if I've missed huge waves of brilliant fic or if it has been a dry period, but I'd love any new recs anyone might have hoarded up!

busaikko and auburnnothenna and pir8fancier have all written multiple stories within that timeframe that I liked a lot. yin_again wrote Operant Conditioning (http://community.livejournal.com/yinfic/20081.html) (McShep, another interesting take/inversion of the AMTDI/Advantage/Or Something Like it plot). I'm way behind on reading McShep_Match and atlantisbigbang, but I know there are a bunch of really good ones in there; maybe poke around for your favorite writers in the masterlist (http://community.livejournal.com/mcshep_match/109226.html) and list of works (http://archiveofourown.org/collections/2010_stories/works)? And there's more that I can't remember just this second....

You can go to del.ici.ous and search on McShep fics posted in your time frame. Or also check out the fics that have been read A LOT. Happy hunting!

Time and tide – a love story with interruptions for murder (http://archiveofourown.org/works/119115?view_adult=true) by Bluespirit. John/Rodney, R, 41094 words. Very cute and sweet romance story with a taste of mystery.

When On Norimia... (http://sgareversebang.dreamwidth.org/10279.html) by lou. John/Rodney, R, 17 000 words. Teyla is being held against her will on Norimia and John's determined to bring her home. If it means he has to enter the Elgo Fest as her Champion to make it happen - with the help of Ronon, Rodney and a Norimian named Yemir now part of the Atlantis guard - so be it.
