Looking for your favorite h/c...
Jul. 9th, 2010 03:19 am...and I'm making it hard by asking you to limit yourself to one. The one you keep coming back to read again and again. I prefer team!whump or Shep!whump, but will happily read all. Please warn for pairings, as I'm easily shocked by het (what with my McSheppist leanings). Thanks!
Here, I'll start start.
An Infirmary Christmas by
wildcat88. 13,650 words, gen (aside from the torture).
Okay, okay. You can have a favorite AU h/c, too. Am I not benevolent? :p
Facts of Life by master elayna. Part of the Woobie Widower 'verse. 3,429 words, McShep. (Wait a mo - doesn't this author also go by
elayna88? In-ter-es-ting. )
Mods, please feel free to throw more tags at this post, if you think they're needed. I'm still not quite sure if I'm doing it right. :D

Date: 2010-07-09 05:47 pm (UTC)If you want to give me a whole list - feel free. (In fact, my post was originally going to be asking for one...then expanding it to one in each category:
canon
AU
ep related
in the city
on the planet
emotional
alternative reality
wraith-related
etc etc
I was up to a mental list of about 20 categories, then I regained my senses.) But go ahead - go crazy...I'll be right
in front ofbehind you. :DAnd thanks for the story!!

(Um, warning, my interpretation of h/c may be eccentric. And/or skewed towards the emotional side. With maybe a side of not-so-serious in some of the stories that aren't all-angst.)

Date: 2010-07-10 04:24 am (UTC)I like your revision, there. As for your h/c interpretation, I was going to include Your Inevitable Unhappy Ending as one of my examples. I think we're on the same weird wavelength. :>
Thanks (and don't expect to hear from me again any time soon. :glee: )
