Admin Post: Rule Extension

Because we love you so (and because we've been asked to clarify), we are modifying our rule regarding off-topic posts.

Effective immediately, you can not only ask for recs in a specific genre, you can also

- ask for the link to a particular rec list (please consider our local list of lists before posting)

- ask for the website address of a particular author

without me deleting your post and whacking you with the modly stick of doom.

As always, check the tags and previous requests to see if what you're looking for has been asked for lately before you post, or I will have to whack you with the aforementioned stick after all.

Also, let me use this post to remind you about tagging your queries. We're trying hard to make finding stuff as easy for you as possible; please don't make this more work for us than it needs to be. We're no fun when we're cranky.

Sorry, I didn't tag my last post. I'm not too sure how to do it in communities, do I just start tyoping and they come up?

You can always click on your post and use the "edit tags" function. That'll give you a grey box containing all the tags for this comm, and you can just click on all that apply while holding down the ctrl button. Easy as pie. :)
