I'm trying to find some genderbender fic wherein McKay is a woman (born one, transformed, whatever), BUT not the perfect woman in so many genderbender fic. Things where he's still a heavier person, not 36-24-36. BUT I'm also looking for Sheppard to find McKay attractive.

I remember reading one once where Sheppard wanted to lecture anyone who'd ever thought WeightWatchers was a good idea. So, that sort of story?

Hopefully something like this exists. If it does, I know you awesome folk will find it!

This isn't the specific one you remember, but it fits your request. With Bones Like That, by [livejournal.com profile] torakowalski. Summary: “I’m Dr Rodney McKay,” she said slowly. “We were at Berkeley together. You majored in mechanical engineering because you’re an idiot who wanted to go to war rather than use your brain for something worthwhile. I’m Rodney McKay with breasts, okay? It’s not that hard to grasp."

how about lally!verse (http://ladycat777.livejournal.com/tag/series:+lallyverse)?

It has a not-so perfect McKay but John's so besotted with her anyway that from his POV you'd think she is....

Do you have a link to the story where Sheppard wanted to lecture anyone who'd ever thought WeightWatchers was a good idea?

Also; here's a story with a female Rodney who's not happy with her own body. If crossdressing squicks you you pobably shouldn't read it.

Umm...You've Written Your Own Directions (And Whistled the Rules of Change) isn't about crossdressing, it's about transgender identity. A fantastic story that I wish everyone would read.

I realize my crossdressing "warning" could be seen as a comment on the content, but it was actually intended as a warning. Someone squicked by crossdressing would probably be uncomfortable with this story.
And I agree with you that the story is amazing!

Listed in the comments already, although it's more a throwaway reference than a lecture - http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/475056.html?replyto=3270064

Thank you. I read that, I loved it, I hoped you meant another one was out there... Well, you can't have everything.
