Hello all. I'm looking to compile a list of McShep AUs--not sure whther it'll be a definitive list (in the tradition of painless_j's many Harry Potter lists) or a rec list yet, but I know for certain it'll be of AUs. So.
Send me as many AUs as you can think of--your favorites, rarer AUs, crack AUs, whatever. I've already compiled quite a few but I'd like to get as many as I can, so I'd apreciated the help. Thanks everyone!
ETA: I should have been clearer--I'm really looking for personal recommendations. SGA Crossroads and del.ici.ous and the like are great resources, and I'm already exploring them. The reason I asked on a journal like this was to get more of a sense of particular ones people enjoyed, and any more minor (or newer) fics that haven't been posted on the major lists yet. Sorry for any confusion, and thanks again :)

These are probably on the lists above already, but here are the ones I've read recently that I really liked. (Not too sure what you classify as AU, but I treated all crack fics as AU)

All mithreon fics are good, but I especially liked The Return of the Dragons (http://mithreon.livejournal.com/4420.html#cutid1) - and the bonus - it's a very rare AU (well, I personally haven't come across any other similiar ones) and i can't believe how well it works. (There's a sequel - "The Poisoning")

gillianinoz's Cute As series (http://gillianinoz.livejournal.com/96585.html) - This is a very good genderswap fic and I don't usually read this kind of fic. It's written in a very good POV and it doesn't feel too cracky at all. But it's still pre-slash at the mo. Well, I'm not sure if you can call it slash anymore. OMG - Het???

And I'm sure everyone has read Missed the Saturday Dance (http://www.notapainter.co.uk/mtsd/index.htm) by now. What an amazing project. Very AU.

I've read way too much Supernatural&J2 fic recently, so I'm finding it very difficult to remember the SGA fic at the moment. I'll prob come back with more once I scroll through what SGA fic I've read - that's if you need it cos you'll prob find loads in those lists.

I don't think I've heard of either of the first two--thank you so much! And "Missed the Saturday Dance" is really amazing, I quite agree. If you think of more later I'd be happy to hear them (even if they do overlap with what's on the lists--part of this exercise is finding out which of the AUs are most popular within the fandom). Now, I need to warn you, I found this one heavy on the angst but it was one of the most beautiful moving stories I've ever read. The writer blends the fairytale perfectly with the B&B universe, and my heart broke for both of the boys. It's equally uplifting and I was nearly in tears of sadness and joy.

And to put a smile on your face after that one: http://www.area52hkh.net/asn/never/princeego.php. This is crack!fic slash that had me rolling about in tears of laughter.
