Any fic out there where John enters into a relationship with Rodney just *sure* that he'll be the one in charge, and things are just Not. That. Way? Wee porny bits with John attempting to be dominant first-time and... failing... would fit, as would longer fic where John keeps trying to take care of Rodney only to find that things are mostly the other way around.

(I tend not to like 'hard' BDSM.)

Someone mentioned the reverse might be fun to read as well: Rodney trying to 'top' in the relationship but ending up on the bottom. Either character in that situation would be cool.

Although it's not D/s, Input (http://trickster.org/res/input.html) by resonant8 sort of fits. John starts out being the one who sets things in motion, and then Rodney sort of takes over. Come to think of it, Girlfriend (http://trickster.org/res/girlfriend.html) (contains temporarily genderswitched!Rodney) and Knowing (http://trickster.org/res/knowing.html) by the same author follow the same theme.

As for BDSM, which I gather you *don't* like, The Shiver Trilogy (http://ellex42.livejournal.com/50390.html) by ellex42 is a pretty obvious example. It's a sequel to another trilogy where John gets off on watching Rodney be tortured and ... stuff happens (I haven't actually read those stories, so I don't really know what goes down in them), only in these stories, Rodney decides that it's his turn to dish it out (with John's consent. It's not noncon).

It feels like there should be more though. I'll let you know if I remember any other stories.
