1. Crackfics
To be honest, I never really understood the difference between crackfics and humour, but I think I'm looking for crackfics. Just fics where the plot is so outlandish and out there that you wonder how the author could POSSIBLY come up with it!

2. Turned into animals
Are there any fics where some characters get turned into animals?

As always my preference is McShep, but I'll read anything really.

#1 - My favest of crackfics, other than a bunch of the Animal!AUs (http://debris-k.livejournal.com/31447.html) (yes, I collected a bunch of recs of those as well :-) - you should make sure not to miss out on "But Where Would They Live"! ) are inanimate!object!AUs or turned-into-inanimate-objects!fics, not surprisingly. A earlier this year I posted a request for recs, and this is the lovely bunch (http://community.livejournal.com/sgagenrefinders/153409.html) that I got. Totally has the best of the best there, with bonus they-are-body-parts!fic. (Viva la crack!)

My favest none-of-the-above crack!fic is probably No Puns, Please (http://1ightning.livejournal.com/94518.html) by 1ightning, Wherein John is a shepherd, Rodney is a sheep rustler, and nothing turns out quite as planned. (McShep, NC-17, AU)

Thanks, I haven't had time to read everything yet, but the few I've started on are great! I'm so stupid though, I hadn't even realised Crossroads had a crack!tag!
