okay I skimmed through all of the previous geek/science theme fic searches and didn't see what I'm looking for so here it is:

1) fic where Rodney and/or his science team are acknowledged for their contributions. Maybe Elizabeth throws them a party. Maybe the IOA commends those who have made significant contributions once contact is reestablished with Earth. Maybe Lorne gives Parrish a gold star for a team mission job well done (or other work related job well done). Or something else. Just any of the scientists acknowledge by either the leader of Atlantis, their team leader, or the IOA for their contributions.

2) fic where Rodney actually acknowledges his scientists contributions or pushes for someone else to acknowledge them. Maybe he awards them with coffee or food or just a "well done" or gives them something tangible. Maybe he pushes Elizabeth or Sam or Woolsey to throw them a party. Whatever.

3) fic where scientists begin being awarded the Atlantis equivalent of the purple heart. Preferably with a happy ending.

Basically I just want to see a scientist being acknowledged for their contribution(s). All pairings but Mckay/Keller (not my cup of tea), gen, slash, het, all of it is good. Thanks.

Gender Bending

I was wondering if there are any updated gender switch fic lists? I've gone through most of the lists I've found on here, but they don't seem to have been updated for a few years, and I know there must be more girl!John and girl!Rodney fics out there.

I'm especially looking for fic where Rodney or John has always been female, like ladycat777's awesome lallyverse (god I love that so much), or the few I've seen where John is either Joan or Jane.

Of course, I'll take anything, naughty alien or ancient device that switches genders, transfic, het, slash, kidfic, mpreg, whatever!

(Mods - did I add enough tags? I kinda wanted to go nuts with them, but kept them narrowed to what I specifically asked for. Should I add more?)

I'm a sucker for caravan-fic, I admit it. So load me up with your favorite "long trip over rough terrain in/on/by cart." They can be heading to a foreign market bazaar (double points) or kidnapped or trying to get home or whatever. The ones I've read have mostly involved unwilling travelers  (such as Seven Walls), but any will do.
