(I am assuming this is a spoiler so I’m going to attempt to hide the text, but I’m also notoriously bad at it so please forgive me and delete this post if I screw up)

I was just wondering if any of you know of any stories based around that or any of the other times Rodney gets slapped in the face regardless of how good a job he’s done.
I’ve read quite a few Lifeline and Aurora stories already, but most of them don’t address the really hurtful words John says to Rodney, and I want one where Rodney just gets tired of it.  I would really like a happy ending, but more than that, I really think Rodney just needs to kick some %$#.  So if there are any stories that come to mind with that theme, I would love them, THANK YOU.

Just lately i've been hankering for a story - any story! - that is set post-Vegas, in the Vegas world, where John lives and Rodney either befriends him or has him join Rodney's team. It would be awesome if Vegas!John eventually got to see Atlantis or...anything, really, but i'll take what I can get. :)


I also can't seem to find any stories - unless i'm missing a tag - that explore Ronon trying to come to terms with living in the world again after having been a Runner for so long. I mean - the man was pretty much alone for seven years, totally unable to spend more than a night at most around other humans, always fearing for his life, fighting, exhausted.... There's no way he seamlessly took to Atlantis life and just - went back to being a normal guy, you know?

So - that's what i'm trying to find. Thank you!

Looking for stories where people refuse to take Rodney's crap.

We all know that Rodney McKay does have a tendency to say and do hurtful things without a second thought, and it made me wonder if there are any stories where someone, be it Sheppard, Zelenka, Weir, his sister or anyone else calls him on it. I would be especially grateful if someone could point me to stories where the marines or the scientists that work under him reach their breaking point.

I'm NOT looking for stories where Rodney is bashed, OR stories where someone fairly points out that Rodney is acting like an ass and then gets punished for being honest.

It can be Zelenka tiring of being given derogatory names (Dr Fumbles McStupid anyone?) or where someone noticed that he's a first class academic snob (just look at the way he and Daniel openly mocks Sheppard in First Contact) or where Jeannie calls him on being a lousy brother/uncle. OR, you can make my wildest dream come true and direct me to stories that deal with his sexist behaviour.

I just think that someone needs to kick Rodney's ass, just a little.

Does anyone know any good het Rodney stories featuring one (or both!) of the following:-

1. PWP smut fics, non-con/rape stories are fine too (as long as it's a woman attacking Rodney)
2. Rodney/female character (preferably Jennifer) UST (ie pre-ship/friendship) stories where he gets hurt.
