Rodney proving his worth to SGC

Hi All,

I'm looking for stories where Rodney shows up Samantha Carter either by being better than her at something science related or proving her wrong at something.
It can be on Atlantis but on earth at the SGC (perhaps even pre-Atlantis) would be great.

Alternatively I'm also looking for stories where Rodney shows/proves the SGC or SG-1 his worth as a scientist, inventor, handyman..whatever.
Basically everything where Rodney saves the day at the SGC (or with SGC people at Atlantis) is great. I'm not really looking for character bashing but in this case I don't mind it either.

Alternatively the second, I guess I'm simply looking for McKay saves the day, proves his worth, shows someone up stories. Slash and Gen are both great, if the story is good I will read Het as well.

Anyone have any recommendations? A thousand thanks.

For the second request, Tippers 'Desert Orkids' kinda fits into that concept, Atlantis believes in Mckay's abilities but if you read the story through the people they were helping out, never really thought Mckay was as smart as he is.
