I was just watching Sanctuary and I was wondering if anyone could recommend some stories where there are actually consequences to John's actions, specifically ones showing the strain between him and McKay. McShep to gen, I'll probably read it. I searched the episodes related tags but couldn't find any that matched.
Thanks!

I can't think of a specific one at the moment but I have codas to Sanctuary saved here (http://del.icio.us/terribilita/coda:sanctuary). Ooh, I saw the rerun today too and now I think I'll reread some of these myself. :>

There's some Santuary recs also at ultimateficarchiver's del.icio.us here, under the ep-114-sanctuary (http://del.icio.us/ultimateficarchiver/ep-114-sanctuary) tag. Most are McShep or varuations of it.

I'm still trying to track down the one in which Chaya messes with John during the glowy merging thing, and Rodney gets hurt - burned, I think... - and John was having nightmares of similar things - bad feelings he didn't think were his own. Or something.

I'd better just cave and post a search for it. As far as possible consequences of John's running off after Chaya fics go, this one was I liked detail-wise, as John didn't get any cuddling for choosing a ho before his bros. ;-)

I think the one you're looking for is Ascension by Karen Mcfadyyon but her fics are no longer available online

Yep, that's the one - I forgot to say so here, it was found for me at [livejournal.com profile] sgastoryfinders.

Anyways, that's the one I wanted to rec. I have a copy if you'd like one (I have all of Karen's SGA fics, I think; the standard zip file that's been making the rounds), it's really worth the read (they all are, actually).

Scratch that, as the email bounced. Here's the response I got:

I can send it again, it's not a problem, just make sure the account is able to receive mail.
