John Brings Rodney In

I've read tons of AUs where Rodney joined the SGC - either going to Atlantis or staying in Colorado - and later meets John. He discovers John's brain and ATA gene (often through randomly-brought-home Ancient devices that John touches at opportune times) and brings him into the program. I love these stories, and there are bunches. But ... Are there stories that take the opposite tack? Where John joins up first and later brings Rodney in? The only one I can think of is custardpringle's Doctor/Patient Confidence.

If you can think of any other stories in which John goes to Atlantis or the SGC first and later recruits or discovers Rodney, please share. Gen would be okay, but my slashy little heart belongs to McShep.

Ooh, thanks! LJ decided to stop emailing me comments again, so I hadn't realized I had replies. :o) I hadn't thought about alternate dimension Rodneys, but they work.

Thanks! I'll check it out. Something tells me the alternate dimension Rodney might be the primary way to find this plotline.
