The Chair and ATA gene

Hi all, i have two requests for you.

1.  I'm looking for fics based around The Ancient Chair (you know the one!), be it either gen or slash (McShep please), where they have to use the chair for the purpose of saving the city blah blah blah, you know the deal. Or Chair Porn which is always nice. But the only one i've ever found is the one by Xanthe.  If anyone can find any others then that would be fabulous.

2.  Second is fics based around the ATA gene. Again either gen or slash (McShep please).

Much appreciated for those who can find what im looking for.

From the recs you linked I second ladycat777's "Persistence of Memory", it's great.

There's also a great one set in the midst of The Siege - Rodney goes off and saves Atlantis by using the chair, except Atlantis' protocols attack him and do a number on his mind/brain... Darn, it's not Speranza's, whose was it...

For #2, Mirror Dance (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=13) by trinityofone is definitely a winner (even though I've yet to read it. It's loooong.)

There's also tarlanx's Sentience (http://www.davidhewlett.co.uk/fiction/viewseries.php?seriesid=9) series; the mission to Atlantis doesn't go as planned when Atlantis rejects all but the ATA gene carriers (and their SO's).

Oh. Both are McShep, explicit.

I would LOVE to read a gen version of "Mirror Dance" -- the story is SO GOOD until the slash part comes in. (just my view, please don't tar and feather me!) I would love to read a gen version of this story. I DREAM about a gen version of this story.

out of sga big bang there was a really delicious au where the ATA gene also gives people special abilities. I read it and enjoyed it immensely.
