Ronon with a companion and Sheppard as a Tok'ra host

Hey, I'm looking for some fics to read...

Any fics where Ronon meet someone who decide to keep him company while he's Running from the Wraith, preferably a crossover character. I.e. Buffy in Myself In You or Harry Potter in 'Undone Wars'. It doesn't matter if they meet up with the Expedition or not.

Any fics where Sheppard is or becomes a Tok'ra host. I've read Not the Villain You Know and the companion piece, but I'm hoping there are others. A quick search through the Goa'uld/Tok'ra tag didn't give me much.

And a couple of repeat requests from a couple of years ago that didn't yield any replies...

Are there any fics dealing with Ronon being implanted with the Subcutaneous Locator Beacon after arriving on Atlantis, and how he reacts to effectivly being implanted with another tracker? It doesn't have to be the main part of the story, but there has to be some kind of significant reaction to it.

Any fics where Ronon find out/is told about Teyla and some of the other Athosians having Wraith DNA, and how he reacts to it.

Any genre or pairing, but preferably not McShep.

I see the first one is also listed as John/Nancy. Does this mean that this is one of those fics where he cheats on her or she is made out to be a villain/evil/bitchy to justify/enable the McShep ship? Because I'm honestly not interested in reading nearly 60, 000 words of that...

Not a Nancy basher at all -- she actually only appears in a conversation where John is forced to admit he used her as a beard.

Trust me -- this is a really good story. One of the stories that got me hooked on this fandom.

I'm afraid I don't have any story suggestions for you, but I wanted to mention that I'm dumbfounded that I (& apparently many others in SGA fandom) never really thought about how Ronon would feel about sub-cu trackers. Since Teyla had heard of Runners & knew the Wraith tracked them, she & others who grew up in the Pegasus Galaxy might very well have objections or at least mixed feelings about the Tau'ri's trackers too. Wow, that's a cultural blind spot!

I still haven't seen a lot of SGA eps so I'm not even sure if all Tau'ri had the trackers or when they were implanted. For example, it seems like the sub-cu's would've been mentioned in the search for Sumner & others on the Hive ship, or Ford when he was Wraithified, if they could have been traced....

I've seen all the episodes -- and the trackers were a plot device that would be unused with a hand wave.

That said, I haven't read a story where they were an issue for Ronon -- and yes, I agree that is a major cultural blind spot.

In fact, the only story I remember reading where they were an issue -- where they were modified to cause pain in the Crimes Against Humanity series.

If my memory serves me right then Earth got the trackers at some point during season 8 of SG1, and then the people on Atlantis got them early in sesaon two after re-establishing contact. So no, neither Sumner nor Ford could've been tracked.

The reason I asked about that kind of stories is because Sheppard's team clearly had them a few episodes after Ronon joined the team and there was nothing about them being implanted before that.

Logic says Ronon would have some kind of averse reaction to them wanting to implant another tracker in him, even if this one is in the arm and can eaily be removed, especially so soon after the Wraith tracker was removed.

Oh yeah, I agree completely. I'd expect a lot of folks who grew up with horror stories of Runners would object....
