Hello me again!

Does anyone have any stories where those in Atlantis thrive and become a central part of Pegasus society. I've read one were the author mentioned they opened a school on Atlantis in passing and I would really like something along those lines but more in depth.

Or they create an army against the Wraith recruiting from those from the Pegasus. I think it would be interesting to read everyone getting together and helping and how the clash of culture will work out!

So overall I want a story were Atlantis and her people become a huge part of Pegasus and maybe in the fight against the Wraith!

Just re-re-read this last night. It's epic length but really, really good. Feature Independent Atlantis, John/Rodney, John/Teyla, Ronon/Teyla.
Written by the Victors by Speranza. Interesting format somewhat like a documentary with interview, book and newspaper excerpts. Past and Present tense writing takes a bit to get used to but worth the effort. Check out the extras at the end of the story as well, where some other authors have added to the universe.

I know this is kind of lazy of me but did you check through ratcreature's thematic list: Atlantis is cut off from Earth or secedes (http://www.ratcreature.net/fannish_stuff/sga_thematiclist_atlantiscutoff.php)? A lot of what you're looking for in there.

Hmmm. I don't know whether the passing reference to forming a school is from my fic, because I devoted a bit more than just a mention of it, as I described gender parity and galaxy-wide teaching staff. Also on the menu, a league of planets whose charter was hammered out by Teyla and a U.S. military translator (discharged under DADT but reinstated through a clever scheme of Woolsey's), immigration policies, a university, a museum to preserve the history of the peoples of Pegasus ... and even the downfall of most of the Wraith (hey, I had to allow Todd the last mocking farewell!). No it was from The History of Atlantis Part II by Mirabile Dictu (http://mirabile-dictu.slashcity.net/History_index.html). I have never read your story before but it sounds really interesting. Really looking forward to it as it sounds similar to what I was looking for!
