sgarecfindersHey guys! I'm so desperate for some fic to deal with this terrible cold I have.
1) I've read Aegis, , What I'm looking for is Rodney-centered fics that are either Fantasy or Science Fiction (could be AU of canon, or AU). I don't mind crossovers, or fusions, as long as the focus is on the SGA characters. It can be gen, friendship, team or McShep as long as it's Rodney-centered or Rodney has an important part in the story. I'm not really that into BDSM. What I really want is well-written, in character stories with a plot. Major cookie points for FemMeredith.
2) My second is also Rodney-centered AU fic that do not deal with the SGA. Stories set in the Old West or stories that deal with pirates, bank robbers, horses, ranchers, knights, etc. There was one story I read with the whole SGA-1 set in the Old West where they are robbers, or one where Rodney was a veterinarian and John had a ranch. Or one where Rodney was a border patrol agent. There was another one where Rodney was a knight. Stories like that. It can be gen, friendship, team or McShep. I just want it to be either Rodney-centered or Rodney playing a vital part in the story. I'm not really into BDSM. I'm really looking for well-written, in character stories with a plot. Major points for FemMeredith.
3) Are there any stories out there where Rodney and/or John are part of the SGC, as in an off-world team before Atlantis? I read this wonderful story where Rodney and John were part of the SG-6 team. Rodney doesn't have to be part of an off-world team, but just already an integrated part of the SGC before the Atlantis mission. I hope I'm making some sense here. I read this other fic where Rodney was part of the original SG-1 and was married to Carter but in this story he was taken over by a T'kra and left the SGC. What I want is stories where Rodney is still a part of the SGC before the Atlantis mission. It can be gen, friendship, team, McShep. Not really into BDSM. I'm really craving in-character, well-written stories with a plot. Major cookie points for FemMederith.

Date: 2013-04-15 02:54 am (UTC)I normally have 9-10 tabs open in Firefox. The Giant AU list is smack dab in the middle, right next to the LJ one. I can't imagine NOT having it handy. If you're a meat'n'potatoes person, then it's Prime Rib with Garlic Mash (or whatever main course you prefer). If you're a sweets person, then it's a Rodneylicious death-by-chocolate-cake! [Sorry, Rodney accepts NO substitutes, lol.] If you're greedy (me-me-me, I am), then it's the whole meal.
When I have a free moment, I'll just point and click and be transported far, far away. So easy.
