I'd love to be pointed towards some stories that theme around Rodney's parents being emotionally unattached to their children, especially Rodney.  I know this is classified as abuse, but I'm not looking for stories of physical abuse or gross and deliberate neglect, just stories that highlight parents who were emotionally absent, who didn't provide emotional support for Rodney (however you want to interpret that), maybe who hadn't wanted children, didn't like Rodney or found him too much trouble....

The same request can also be directed toward John.  Slash is always welcome, and gen is fine also, but no het please.

I started with this one b/c I figured I would then go through allyndra's list (can't wait!). Boy, was this a great story!! Thanks so much for pointing me towards this!!!!! Now off to check out the rest.

BTW, meant to ask, how do I find more stories at the above link? Do I just click "archive" and read through every one of her posts, or is there (please, please) a better way to find stories at an author's LJ?

In this case, the author has 'backdated' her Index of Fic post so that it's the first entry you see on her LJ. (Well, the first entry is her Supernatural fic, the next is her SGA fic.) But if you want to find it your self just go to her LJ page. It looks like she keeps it up to date.
