Podfic!

Hi!

So I've been out of the fandom for a while, and I had a sudden craving for SGA awesomeness...

It looks like there hasn't been a podfic request since Feb. 1, 2011...and Audio Jinjurly has grown hugely since then. Can you guys point me towards some of the more recent podfic? Great readers, anything over twenty minutes, any pairing...which podfics made you laugh out loud, or spend two hours washing the dishes just to listen through to the end?

Oh my goodness, you have no idea how happy this response has made me. It's a good thing I have tomorrow off, because I'm going to stay up way too late getting this on my mp3 player and planning extra-long hikes with the dogs this week just so I can listen to it all. Awesome!

Mific does some awesome podfic. I don't know how to sort the AO3 for more than one thing, but here's all her podfic. For SGA, I suggest starting with King of Atlantis because it's hilarious. Helens78 is also fantastic. Her materlist is here (scroll down). I adore Sufficient and Unto the Day. I'm currently addicted to libararychick-94's podfic, which can be found at her LiveJournal podfic tag. She's done all of A Farm in Iowa (about 15 hours...).

I believe that Arwen Lune and I are the only new SGA podficcers in the requested timeframe, at least who've done multiple things. I haven't listened to all of Arwen Lune's most recent podfics yet, an angsty gen series, but I really enjoyed the earlier ones. You can also rarely go wrong with reena_jenkins--the Highly Classified series is on my comfort listen list.

Thanks to you for all the hard work! ;) By the way I've also enjoyed your "The First Cut Is the Deepest by Dira Sudis" and "Run to the sea by irnan", which must not have been easy to record, and without the podfic I wouldn't have discovered the awesome fic! ;)

Thanks so much! run to the sea was a bit tricky at the end, but I seem to have a fondness for stories with really long sentences so I've had practice. :) And I'm really glad I happened to introduce you to such great stories and authors!
