John with diabetes or something similar?

Hey I read a story a little bit ago about John as an FBI agent and  he had diabetes (http://archiveofourown.org/series/11134) -It was great, and left me wanting to read more that were similar- are there any others out there in a similar vein- where he has asthma, diabetes- or another illness?  A different and awesome kind of whump...   Slash/gen...it's all good- any other suggestions I could read along this vein?
