AU where John isn't in the AF

After reading "A Place On The Corner" by [Bad username or site: almostnever, @ livejournal.com], I find myself hunger for more stories similar to it.

I would love some recs where John has jobs like being a bartender, baker, homeless XD etc etc. (just a John, who isn't in the service of the AF anymore) and where Rodney meets him and gets WOW by Sherppard's intelligence that's hidden underneath that lazy and easy-going persona...and preferably Mcshep.
