Alone John Recs?

Hello!

I'm looking for any John-centric stories that deal with the fact that at the end of season 5, he is the only one out of a relationship, and on his own. I've never read any which really delve into the fact that he was stood on his own on the balcony with the others in pairs, and that he has never really seemed to be involved with other people like the rest of his team are. The fact that he keeps people at bay a huge amount?

Perhaps the other characters  don't notices it (maybe John makes sure they don't somehow), but if they do notice, perhaps they are shocked or something? Maybe focused on how he is a little bit of an enigma, and holds himself apart from everyone? I love stories where John is a mystery, and you can never go wrong with some angst. 

No het pairings please, particularly none where he is still mourning Elizabeth, and if it's slash I prefer John/Rodney, though I would be perfectly happy with gen. I'd really like some non-romantic/non-pairing ones if they do exist actually? Any POV is fine as well. An outside one might be particularly interesting but I'm not fussy there. 
A happy ending would be fine, but I'm perfectly fine with an unhappy or unresolved ending as well.
