I am looking for any McShep fics where they travel to the future or alternate time line or alternate universe(parallel universe). FemMer great! McShep's my favorite. I will take other pairings but if not McShep has to be at least Rodney-centered. Thanks!

Two gen recs for you!

For Rodney-centred rec with travel of both John and Rodney to an AU I would definitely recommend sholio and The Light of a Fading Sun (http://www.sholiofic.com/sga/fadingsun.shtml).

Only point to keep in mind is that it is set in the AU and is about our boys travelling to it! This is also a different take on post-Trinity events, an interesting what-if. It also did win the 2007 Stargate Fan Awards Best Drama (Gen) Rodney McKay/John Sheppard Duet!


Not quite what you asked for would be the excellent Rodney-centred Groundhog Day fic, Wit's End (http://sga-genficathon.livejournal.com/33269.html) by greyias. This is great if you enjoy angst because it really puts Rodney through the ringer while still being an upbeat, friendship fic!. Rodney is stuck with a heavily armed mad man, a malfunctioning Ancient machine, a 17 minute time loop and having to try and keep his team safe through it all! Specifically a great John-and-Rodney friendship fic!
