The knowledge of the Ancients in his head

Are there some stories out there that have Rodney using, being forced to use or finding the device by accident, and 'downloading' the Ancient's repository of knowledge into his head? Like O'Neill in SG-1's 'The Fifth Race' and 'Lost City'? Or something similar? Or someone else of the team being in the situation? Gen, Slash, whatever, I will take anything. Thanks in advance! ;D
