A mission gone wrong. Sheppard's team is kidnapped and almost killed by the natives, who apparently kill everyone that visits the planet in an attempt to hide their presence. In the end, Sheppard remains hostage, the rest of the team sent back alive, with the threat to kill Sheppard if they come back, and with only Rodney allowed weekly visits. A rescue mission is not viable because the place is Ancient-built and secure. But as the weeks pass, without a possibility of rescue in sight, Sheppard gets restless, slowly losing his mind. Rodney has to do something.

Date: 2011-10-06 12:12 pm (UTC)Oh the dangers of fanfic addiction. :) I feel your pain. Used to happen to me too a lot. There's an easy solution to that: Use the firefox add-on session manager, adjust settings accordingly, and then it won't matter if it crashes, you'll have the exact tabs you had before. And/or, something just as useful: the add-on "TabGroups Manager", which lets you hibernate tab groups without an entry into your firefox bookmarks.
