Damaged/Injured Person SGA fanfition

  Hello all,

    I'm looking for SGA stories that deal with someone that has a scar or visible physical damage and how they deal with other people interacting with them, especially potential lovers/significant others. Hurt/comfort a plus (and a doting Carson would be good too). How they receive the damage or scars can be from anything.

    I came across this idea from the fanficiton "Time Heals" by CJ (it is an awesome fic that uses Keira Marcos' Ties that Bind Universe as a backdrop and uses 2 OMC).

    I would be fine with any slash, het, or general. I prefer Slash, especially McDex, McShep, Lorne/Sheppard or Beckett/McKay or Mitchell/Sheppard or Mitchell/Lorne or Dex/Sheppard.

Rodney leaves Atlantis & looks him up just before declassification. John's injury has a large impact on his quality of life & his relationship with Rodney.

Fading Skies by Diamond-Raven (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3407991/1/Fading_Skies) After John is badly wounded while serving in Somalia, he and Rodney have to learn how to make a serious physical disability a part of their lives.

As Deep Cries Out To Deep by race_the_ace (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=15868&warning=12) John Sheppard had served his country and just wanted to be left alone for the rest of his life. Too bad Rodney McKay had other ideas. So when John moves to Atlantis, at Rodney's behest, he discovers more than the City of the Ancients, he discovers Evan Lorne. John has an injured, scarred leg.

Hope you don't mind self-pimps and not sure if it really fits your request since the damage is more psychologically than physically but both a scar and a busted knee do play roles in my Pandora's Box (http://gelbes-gilatier.livejournal.com/262208.html) 'verse (master post for eight Lorne/Cadman oneshots in a kind of apoca!fic 'verse that veers off 'First Strike').

I don't know how well this one qualifies since I've only read the synopsis, but there was recently a McKay/Sheppard rewrite of Roxanne posted wherein John has a large scar on the side of his neck and a bit of his face. I sort by disability on my Delicious. The tag bundle is Injuries and Disabilities but I can't sort by Bundle + SGA. If you wanted, say, impotence or burns, you'd need to choose the injury, then the fandom >.<

Though that would lead you to Hero by Constant Vigilance, which I think is the kind of story you're looking for.

Hm, there's a brief mention of John beeing badly scarred in Foster's Bakery by anatsuno and Cesare. I believe it takes place in part 7, Wine Therapy, and is written from Rodney's pov. It's a McShep and AU.

I wrote a gen torture aftermath fic. The torture was very graphic and Rodney was left with very bad scars and serious psych issues. It has Keller in it (but that part of your request seems to be optional) It should stand alone.
