Just read the hard prayer by rheanna and I am jonesing for more!! I want to read mcshep at the end o the world! The higher the rating the better as far as I'm concerned. Any links to anything like that? It can be during the end of the world or after. They can already have known each other or just met. As long as it's mcshep and the end of the world :)

Draconian Measures by Tarlan: Following on from the Stargate SG-1 episode, 'The Road Not Taken' (10x13). Rodney is coerced into taking over Sam's role as President Landry's chief science adviser, but without another ZPM, he knows it is only a matter of time before the Ori return and destroy the Earth. However, the threat comes from an unexpected direction, and as Earth falls to the Goa'uld System Lords, who want to make Earth their final battleground against the Ori, Rodney and John organize the escape of those they are able to save using the last of Earth's ships (Daedalus and Prometheus) and the Stargate. As they battle to raise Atlantis and then power her, John and Rodney discover that the Goa'uld and the Ori are not the only enemy they must overcome before Atlantis can become a true refuge - and home.

Slouching Towards Bethlehem by MrsHamill: The Ori overtake earth, leaving Atlantis on its own. They must rescue the stranded Daedalus and forge a future.

Two Years After Tomorrow by lavvyan: John and Rodney fight, Rodney leaves for Earth, which is then destroyed. John becomes depressed and authoritarian, never smiling. (OC POV, does have a happy ending)

The Dreaming by Kat Reitz & Tzigane: post-Apocalyptic AU pastiche of "The Stand." A plague kills everyone on Earth and Atlantis without the gene, and Rodney might not survive. Survivors from Earth make their way to Colorado.

The Lonely Sea by Tarlan: Global warming has melted the polar caps. Rodney McKay has a map leading to the only remaining dry land, and John has a boat. fusion with Waterworld.

Legion the Things I Would Give to Oblivion by Auburn: How Atlantis ends, and the struggle to survive after...The Wraith are many, the Daedalus is just one ship. (John/Rodney, John/Rodney/Teyla) [Minor crossover with Numb3rs]

Pegasus Purgatorio series by MrsHamill: The war with the Wraith and the Asurans is going badly. The Atlanteans are able to gate back to Earth before Atlantis is destroyed, except for John and Rodney who get left behind.

All Worlds Converge to Where You Are by gottalovev: crossover with Supernatural, Vegas!verse. A viral infection turning normal citizens into homicidal maniacs, called the Croatoan disease, is spreading across the United States. Not quite ready to sign up for the Stargate program as Rodney McKay suggests, former Las Vegas detective John Sheppard instead joins a para-military organization based at Camp Chitaqua, led by Dean Winchester. There, he soon learns that the world is even more fucked up than he thought. Between fighting to help stop the apocalypse, and the pull of the stars, John tries to find his place.
