Sheppard as a single father

Over the past year I've seen people mention either in searches or in comments to stories where Rodney is a single dad/widower about how it was nice to see since there are so many stories that usually have John as the single dad/widower.

I don't usually go for kid!fic but this has been driving me nuts for a while and for some reason I'm craving to read some daddy!John. Where are these stories? I haven't seen but one (The Number of a Man). I know my Google-Fu is bad but I'm starting to think that they're deliberately hiding from me (in a matter of speaking). So could you fine folks point me in the direction of these stories? I'd actually prefer slash but if there is a story that you think is really well done and it's het I won't mind a bit checking it out.

Her site was hacked a week or so ago. Some of the fics aren't accessible because of it, I'm just not sure which are safe at this time. :(

I just loaded the first two stories and both pages are pure HTML code, nothing funny, download-y, or virus-y about them. Is there anything else I'd need to do, other than load the pages in a browser, to encounter that virus?

I think it's safe enough, though I'm far from an expert. My firefox blocked the first story, so I tried the second in opera and it loaded it without problems; I checked its source and there's nothing even remotely weird in the HTML code.

My suggestion, if you want to play it safe, is to load the site from a browser which doesn't store your personal information (mine are all set never to do anything remotely like that, but then again I can't say all browser settings are user-changable) and to have a web-activity monitoring antivirus active while you do so (I use the free Panda antivirus and it didn't utter a peep about the page).

Carly, John's daughter, is adorable and really makes the fic.

Small Primes and Square Roots by liviapenn. This one kind of crosses the line a little. John is the father but Rodney is the dad. Not an mpreg. It's long enough to hold your interest and the kid is so very cool, it's worth smudging the line.
