Newbie seeking slash and/or h/c recs

Hello. I hope this is an appropriate request. I've only just discovered Atlantis, and I could not be more thrilled with it. I really love this show. I'm wondering if everyone would not mind suggesting some of their favorite McKay/Sheppard recs. I also would like some hurt/comfort recs. I prefer slash, but I'll take gen for those ones, also.

There's a lot of great fic in the SGA fandom, have fun with it!

(Also, for your gen h/c reading pleasure I'd strongly recommend Whipping Boy (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/?view=fic&id=74) by skinscript. It reads like one of the movies we're not getting (except better written than the show writers would've) in terms of action/adventure, has a cool SF plot, awesome Lorne, great Rodney & John friendship, and more. ~45,750 words. Also michelel72's Remorse (http://archiveofourown.org/works/31984/chapters/42580) (Rodney-focused, ~18,350 words), though that one's a bit more hurt than comfort. And if you can stand being put through the wringer (in a good way), samdonne's Your Cowboy Days Are Over (Mammas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys) (http://www.butcheredart.net/Fiction/YourCowboyDays.html) (John-focused, ~59,100 words).

I actually just finished that one. I wandered over from Star Trek via wanting to read more of Kiera's writing. I really, really loved it. It just made so much...sense. John's easy laid back attitude and McKay's snark...they just fit, I think.
