looking for stranded fics and best "classic" long fics

I'm looking for fic in which John alone or John and his team or any of them by themselves are
stranded somewhere in the Pegasus Galaxy. I really love long fics but any length would
be welcome.
Also i would like recs for fics you consider the best in Atlantis fic in longer fic or series.
I prefer Gen or Het of any pairing . No slash or pre slash please. Thanks so much.

Dossier's gen novel East of The Sun, West of The Moon is long (over 150,000 words) and really awesome. It's not (yet) a classic though, since it's been finished only this autumn.

Beginning at how many words does a story count as "longer" for you? If more mid-length of over 50,000 words are okay too, great gen stories are Somnus by Sealie, Your Cowboy Days Are Over by Samdonne, and Scheherazade by Wintertime.

Oh, and I forgot, my favorite story with John and the team stranded is the "And Make a Northwest Passage" series by Auburn and Eretria, it's gen and you can all three stories linked from this index page.

I've written a few that sound like what you're looking for: Running on Empty and The Killing Frost and Ghost in the Machine are all about various combinations of team members stranded on alien worlds.
